Oh No,this Thursday night they burnt and overcooked House Fries.....Absolute disappointment.Overcooked and still gave me. Tikka burger was nice though Their wings are not that good tbh. House fries is just about average. Well, just finished having chicken spot walthamstow and it has to be said you gatto give them full marks for presentation and packaging. The burgers,I tried 3 of spicy chicken fillet,Tikka and half pounder beef burger. Tried some wings too and they were quite fresh, although, not the best amongst all I have tried in past from other hen outlets, albeit damn fun. Coming to burgers I am not entirely convinced with taste although presentation and freshness was outclass, probably the best I have experienced in recent times. Spicy fillet burger should have been a little more spicy or marinated with spices although was very fresh again. Tikka had the best bun outside, quite unique, fresh and soft. Beef was okayish, nothing outrageously special there. Wings were okay too but very fresh All in all, very good outlet compared to some others but tastewise there is some room for improvement especially in fillet burger. Comin up with some more scintillating reviews upon your special requests my audience.I see my fans are growin ever so squeakily.keep it up beefy lads.Ciao,c ya soon folks.Ta ma lads.... Tried again today and very good burger but wings were a little overcooked and a bit burnt but tikka...
Read moreVisited Chicken Spot for the first time on Saturday after noticing it is HMC certified. I had an Uber Eats voucher to use so ordered for collection. When I got there on time I had to wait another 15 minutes as they never had enough of the pieces my kids like - I was ok to wait but still they generously gave me some complimentary cheesecake and own brand drinks for the inconvenience. The main thing was they kindly met my requests. The food was very tasty! Generous portions (the mega chips is huge). Chicken was well marinated and moist. I will definitely be returning. The homemade sauces and the fruity Chicken Spot branded drinks are a very nice unique touch. Staff are all very polite and customer focused. My main feedback would be that the chicken was very salty. I thought maybe it was a bad day for the flour batter mix so I will definitely return to see if it was a one off. The chips could also be fried in better quality oil which adds a nicer flavour (like Tasty in Clapton roundabout or Ala Pizza in Upton Lane). Otherwise the place is very good... Clean and of good quality. I would...
Read moreChanging my original score from 5 to 2 star. When it first opened 2 years ago it was very good but as a lot of workers have changed, the quality of customer service seems to be going down. Food is still the same though.
Recently seen on multiple occasions staff are over charging customers or short changing them. If a burger on its own is £3.50 don't charge them £5. This happenned with me on multiple occasions but after speaking up they never over charged me.
Also seeing times where the correct food hasn't been given, resulting in me having to come back.
My advice for staff is stop overcharging and short changing your customers. My advice for customers is to check the menu and make sure you are being charged what's listed and double check your order before leaving the shop.
Credit due to the original staff who launched the shop 2 years ago but I will no longer be customer here at...
