I actually used to work at this PJ - so embarrassing to see how its turned out. No complaints regarding the food however the customer service is seriously so poor, very unhelpful and unprofessional. Friday evening I tried to order online but it didn't go through I then ring the store and told them the payment has been taken but order hasn't been processed, I ordered over the phone and now I'm being told to wait one week for a manager or 14 days. Two payments processed but only one order received. Continuously being messed around, I was first told to wait a few days to ensure the money has come out and then call them to process a refund and now being told something different. Staff members really mocking the fact that my money has been taken, they didn't know the customer service phone number or email address and could hear staff laughing in the background. I don't think its funny that during this pandemic I am having to chase nearly £30 worth of food I didn't get! I appreciate the website was down on Friday but to have to chase a few times for a refund is beyond me! They even forgot to bring my drink on Friday when I placed 2nd order!! Train your...

Called the store as per their website to complain about a cold order I received, managed to speak to someone called ‘Kevin’ who had me on hold, and then tried to imply it was my fault as I didn’t get in touch last night, and then basically implied I was lying as he said ‘I’m not calling you a liar, but it is impossible for that order to have been cold’. Abysmal customer service, he even hung up the call and ignored any further calls I made. I had to call back off a different phone number to which he answered and was choking on his own words when I queried why he hung up. Initially he said the line dropped out, and then changed his story to he had to serve another customer. Seems strange that you would hang up on a customer who is complaining to serve another customer in store. This store clearly has no real managers or management in place, don’t waste your time contacting the store for a complaint or refund, contact head office direct and avoid wasting your time. Read morePlaced an order waited one hour to then have the order cancelled. Called to be advised they tried call multiple times which is a complete lie as not one miss call or text. Reason for cancellation was no drivers yet delivery was set up through uber and driver was allocated after an hour wait to collect. Checked number to ensure it’s the correct one which it is.. so lied about that.. said I would come and collect and response was they never made order. So how could they tell no driver was available if they never made the order in the first place.
Why wait one hour on a Saturday to then cancel if you can’t complete the order for what ever bizarre reason just cancel straight away.. app showed it being backed, checked and waiting pick up
So don’t know which story is a lie as none of the above makes sense to me. Sounds like they just couldn’t be assed to make my order and I have mug written on my forehead to wait over and hour.
