I truly wish I could give a better rating. But went here on Valentine’s Day and the service was a disaster. I never experienced anything like it.

Although they were only taking reservations, I found myself waiting for over an hour before being served. When my order finally arrived, only half of it was served, prompting the waiter to inquire whether I still wished to receive the rest. To make matters worse, I observed that the table next to ours had been waiting for over two hours without being served, and the waiter had apparently forgotten about their order. Shockingly, he still wanted to charge them! They were forced to leave hungry and dissatisfied. Similarly, another table only had one of their two dishes served after waiting for more than an hour, and the dishes that arrived were not even the one they had ordered. Since the waiter noticed we befriended these couples, he offered me a complimentary dessert. When we asked for the bill, the waiter spoke poorly of the couple who had left without being served, blaming them for what had happen.

The food itself was exceptional nonetheless, very authentic and delicious. The decor was also quite beautiful.

In conclusion, while the quality and price of the food and the aesthetic appeal of the restaurant were commendable, the service was unacceptable. It is my sincere hope that the management will take measures to rectify these issues so that future customers can enjoy a...

Generic food with staff who have no idea what they’re doing.

Met up with friends in East London and a friend suggested this place after seeing it had 4.9 stars. We soon realised it wasn’t worthy of said 4.9 stars.

When we arrived, we gave the name of the booking and the waiter couldn’t find our booking.. because he was looking in the wrong place.

Ordering drinks, I wanted an Aperol Spritz but with lemonade instead of soda and the waitress thought I wanted no orange and didn’t really understand.

My friend asked for recommendations for her starter between the prosciutto and melon or the octopus salad, the waitress just wrote prosciutto and melon without really listening to what was being asked. When asking again the waitress had zero idea what was being asked.

My starter I ordered a Caprese salad which said came with fresh basil but was served with rocket instead.

I had the Fiorentina pizza which was gigantic but didn’t taste of much and needed salt.

It literally took them 20 minutes to clear our plates and a further 20 minutes to take our dessert order, by which point I was full and didn’t want anything.

Literally about 5 tables were occupied so there was no reason for the staff not to be attentive.

The staff were disorganised and I felt like they were brand new and had never worked in hospitality before, they were all over the place.

Won’t...

Me and my partner chose to celebrate Valentine’s Day here and we have stumbled across a gold mine the food was absolutely amazing it’s was like heaven on a plate I got the fillet of beef medium rare and it was hands down the best bit of beef I have ever had it is rare I come away from a reasturant without any criticism whatsoever well this is a first because it was amazing with a river view it’s a perfect romantic spot and the staff are so friendly and catered to our every need this is definitely our new regular may I add it’s the little things that matter as I put a special request on for flowers and a message to be on the table upon arrival for my partner and was very touched at the effort the staff went to in order to carry that out they all made our experience very warm I highly recommend this to anyone who likes quality Italian food or just quality food in general this was 10/10 and 5 start completely no complaints whatsoever I can’t wait to go back hands down the best reasturant in my memory that I’ve been too get yourself down here you...

Ciao bella is a hidden gem in Mile End Park. Superb location with the terraza facing the riverside of the park. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The service had been spotless with our waitress Misha checking up on us and offering assistance as needed. The real secret of the restaurant is the amazing Italian food and fresh produce. The chef is 100% Italian and his menu offers a good range of dishes which preserve Italian authentic taste and tradition. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
