We went on opening day and were customer no 50. They can be forgiven for running out of food and for the power cuts, and for this, I don't give them 1 star. Taco Güero: Amazing, solid option. Filled to the brim and really well made. Makes me wanna come back and try the other tacos that were sold out. Set menu: £13 for chicken, rice and beans. We didn't receive rice which we thought initially was maybe because they ran out. However people after us got rice so it looks like they just left that out which was a bit disappointing. Not the best start but given what they were dealing with on the day, open to coming back and trying again once they've got things sorted.

Really happy with my first experience at comalera. The tacos paisas were so good, some of the best tacos I’ve had in the uk. Everything was faultless about them - tortillas were so soft and beef and salsa was delicious. The flautas de deshebrada were really good too! Crunchy, flavoursome, delicious green salsa! The stew taco with rice was very good but just a bit pricey at £6.50 for one taco. But overall loved it and would happily go back.

Popped in for lunch this sunny Saturday and it did not disappoint. A few things were off the menu already but we ordered the three that were still available and each one was a burst of flavour. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic and the sauces had a great kick to them and I like that they didn’t hold back on the spice. 10/10
