Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

Update 2024 2 Star Rating Consistency is very important. Even when you have a high turnover of staff. July 2024, my first Cortado at this branch situated within next. The staff were friendly and polite. The drink was extremely hot, too hot for a coffee. The ratio was completely out of sync. Tasted extremely watery. Not great at all. Suggest this franchise to invest in training.

Updated 2023 5 Star Rating What a difference a year makes?! I've used this restaurant on several occasions during July & August 2023, and wow does the coffee taste good. The barista knows her drinks and is spot on every time! I hope they maintain this standard, will visit again in a years time! My go to drink is a Cortado!

Restaurant was generally clean and tidy. Barista area was not up to scratch. Cups used to pour espresso shots were dirty with previously overflowing coffee stains. The barista should keep their own area spotless. I ordered cortado, ended up with a very milky coffee which was more like a latte. To be honest, I expect better from specialist coffee shop, I think McDonald's would have probably been better on...

Went there with my two years old for breakfast. After paying the food and coffee they telling me I have to check in to NHS track and trace. I told them I'm not using the app , they said that then I only can sit outside as it's legal requirement to check in!! In the rain with a toddler!! Yes, it's legal requirement for you to put the QR code on display but I'm as a costumer "recomended" to check in and you can't force me to do that!!! Shaming me front of others saying that I can't sit in ! Disappointing ! The two Male staff member was on their mobile during my visit and continuously talked their own mum language which was not English..... THIS is NOT aimed at any member of staff as I’m a strong believer that most care about their role and want to do a good job.

The tables where dirty with squashed chocolate on the one we sat at. When my wife asked for a cloth to wipe the table down. She was told they didn’t have any.

Look at the photos when tables where cleared they want wiped down.

Staff seemed short on the ground not enough time to do the job properly

Hospitality’s I’d in dire need of people we have literally seen them on the news.

But hey let run what we have into the ground so they leave the sector as well
