The second time this happened, I've had it now.
My 4 years old always wants the mac and cheese pasta,he loves it. Went to the fridge but couldn't see any pasta, so I asked the lady behind the counter if there was any in the back. She said there was none left, so my boy settled for a sandwich. A few minutes later, another member of staff comes with the pasta to refill the fridge. She saw me staring confused, so she asked me if I wanted the pasta. I told her that i originally wanted to buy the pasta, but because I was told there was none, I ordered a sandwich. The girls behind the counter they were chating amongst each other, and i heard one of them saying :" I made the sandwich for them already. What do you want me to do with it?" After that, one of them turned back to us and said, " Sorry, we can't change it. You already have the sandwich." Not only that the same exact thing happened a while back, but every time I came to this particular Costa branch, the staff here were rude and always showed a lack of interest. I like Costa products and my kids as well and whenever we go to the Costa brach inside Tesco at Highams Park, we never had any issues. Staff there are kind and provide good customer service.

Read moreWent to Costa to collect a bag from toogoodtogo. Shop was empty. I told the lady I was there to collect a toogoodtogo bag. She barked at me show me, so I brought up the confirmation email I had received. (my first time using the app) the lady then said no show me the page. I said this is my confirmation I've paid, again she shouts this time show me the page. She says this another 3/4 times clearly agitated. I then ask do you mean you want me to go onto the app? She responds with yes I said show me the page. After finally showing her the app once I figured out what she ment, she huffed walked round threw 3 toasties in a bag and put it on the counter saying here and walked off into the back of the shop. Won't ever come in here again. I get that it was partially my fault not knowing how the process works but a bit of customer service and her explaining what she needed to see properly rather than shouting the same sentance at me repetitively would of gone a long way. After speaking to friends about it, its become apparent that this woman has a foul attitude regularly as they all knew which staff member I was talking about without me...
Read moreI have just left here physically shaking after coming in to buy a coffee with my daughter. I was half way through making my order when a man said that I had pushed in. I saw nobody was queuing by the till when I arrived and the member of staff was happily taking my order. The man was getting more angry, and feeling more intimated I had to leave. The staff while in a difficult position didn't say anything and let his actions escalate. They obviously knew who he was too as when I left they said his name telling him that he had gone too far. I was in a really relaxed mood entering but still an hour late in shock at what happened. I will be taking up this further with head office as simple intervention by staff would have stopped this ending like it did. I will never return to your premises...
