Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

I always love visiting this branch of Costa. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they normally remember my coffee order - despite not visiting regularly!

Nice selection of sandwiches and cakes, though they do often sell out of vegetarian/vegan options very early. Occasionally I have had to go elsewhere because of this issue.

Tables are usually cleared quite quickly, and staff are normally good at ejecting groups of school children who sometimes come in (without purchasing) and hog the tables.

My reason for only giving four stars is the lack of WiFi. If you sit inside the coffee shop your phone can’t receive any signal either, so you can’t use your phone for anything other than offline work. There is a cordoned off seating area outside of the store (within the shopping centre where WiFi is available) but I don’t feel comfortable sitting there as it’s too exposed, and makes you an easy target for potential thieves to steal...

well I'd love to give 1star or less to the staff I met here... the service could be more friendly, really! and the iced coffee literally no taste at all !!!!!!!!!!!! :/ the cashier was particularly impatient with me when I was ordering my coffee, Idk, maybe she just had a bad day which I could understand.. but showing it to the customers... is really not that nice! and one of them poured the coffee to the milk scornfully, some of my coffee spilled on the table as well. that's the way she prepared my coffee. and when she FINALLY bring my coffee to the waiting spot I have to ask her twice if this cup of coffee is made for me until she answered yes impatiently, in a not very busy situation (i ask it just bcz there are few ppl waiting for their coffee too, I don't want to pick the wrong one and then take it). and my friend told me he thinks they are so rude to him as well, I guess we probably not gonna visit this...

What's cool about the spot - The location is the biggest advantage. Pop in for a quick snack or a coffee when knackered by shopping. The ambience is nice and well maintained..like any other Costa decent choices were available. I found one of the ceiling decor which was made of costa coffee mugs very unique!

Improvement suggestion to owners - The outside seating area very much feels like public space. Some minimalistic barricades would help create a more seggreagated shop floor.
