Just had an awful experience here thanks to the two boys that were working behind the tills at 5.30pm, Swarmi (I am not sure if this is spelled correctly) and Orison. I ordered 2 drinks while I waited for a friend and was told that I shouldnât be having caffeine, with Swarmi pointing to my stomach because I am pregnant. When I said iâm fine and I would like to have what I ordered, Swarmi laughed in my face while shaking his head. The other worker, Orison, then also insisted he make me a decaf, to which I said I was fine with what I ordered. I was horrified and absolutely astonished that they felt that this was acceptable to say to a customer, letalone a woman on her own. I felt extremely intimidated and upset, I have never had an interaction like this before and I couldnât believe what I was hearing. My friend arrived and I confronted Orison before I left, letting him know that they shouldnât give unsolicited advice to women and pointed out that neither of them are doctors so they have no business suggesting what someone else should do with their body. If either of them are reading this - please go to read the official NHS advice on caffeine while pregnant, then I hope you both learn a valuable lesson from this and never try to intimidate a woman based on outdated advice again. I will be emailing Starbucks...

Read moreAvoid this poor excuse for a Starbucks like the plague (the amount of flies in this place, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were IN an actual plague)! This is the absolute worst Starbucks I have ever visited.
Full of dirty tables and about a dozen flies crawling all over the till area; this place is filthy. The floors aren't being swept/mopped regularly (sticky) and surfaces are not being wiped down.
Staff are unfriendly and seem more interested in their phones than delivering a basic level of customer service. If you need a straw, don't be surprised if the moody staff members huffily toss it on the dirty countertop for you. Some staff were not in the correct uniform and most weren't wearing name badges, which is unusual for a Starbucks. One member of staff was an exception to this; he was really good from what I observed.
My mocha was made incorrectly, gross and I had to throw it away, because there was no way I was going to complain to staff, especially after reading a "polite notice" to customers about "not abusing" staff.
I hated writing this review but these points need to be highlighted and...
