VERY RUDE STAFF, I WAS RUDELY ASKED TO LEAVE AS WITHIN 15 MINUTES DIDN'T BUY A DRINK. I COME EVERYDAY AND BUY A DRINK AT 10 AM BUT I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE BECAUSE I USE MY LAPTOP WHILE I WAIT TO PICK KID OR I JUST DON'T KNOW. IS IT BETTER TO HAVE A REGULAR CUSTOMER WHO BUYS A DRINK OR NON AT ALL? THEY BLAMED NEW MANAGEMENT. BUT ITS NOT A FRIENDLY PLACE, THE COFFEE IS BAD, THE STAFF ARE RUDE. THEY HAVE NO CONSIDERATION FOR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. WHAT IS THE POINT IN GENERATING MORE REVENUE WHEN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD AND CUSTOMERS DON'T FEEL WELCOME, CUSTOMERS ARE JUST CONSTANTLY PUSHED TO BUY EXPENSIVE DRINKS AND THEY DON'T KNOW AS THEY ARE NOT TOLD IT WILL COST THEM £X MORE. Read morelazy staff- 3 on board unwilling to open up upstairs during three different visits recently because "lack of staff". Takes a rag to clean the tables upstairs... don't understand their problem. And they really need to think ---- they lost me and my wife's custom to Starbucks next door--- never again Costa---- you're too willing to take the money but not allow for any VACANT tables. Should be breach of sales law when you charge for coffee in but do not allow for a table.
ps. I spent on average £800 on coffee nearly all at Costa, but poor management here means...
