Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

Genuinely shocked by what I've just witnessed in this store and I will be complaining to head office.

Member of staff was re arranging the sandwichs/panninis... I've waited for a moment before I get in to pick (although this member of staff obviously knew I was waiting) I've reached in for the item I want making sure I've selected a good one... I notice the member of staff loudly huff and shrug her shoulders... I turned round and said sorry I just wanted to make sure I got a good one... As in one where the filling wasn't spilling out everywhere... She rudely remarked "they're all the same no?" I told the cashier what had happened whose response was yes she's renowned for being rude/like that unfortunately....

Just popped in for a takeaway panini...Was told payment upfront before they toast...something i've never witnessed in there but it is what it is...

Was told £4.50 by cashier...I then saw the price on the till was £5.20 yet I had already paid...

When I queried this I was told the price is £5.20...someone in the shop brought up takeaway vs eat in prices and a costa employee said all the prices are the same regardless of eat in or takeaway...

Regardless of whats happened in here £5.20 for a TAKEAWAY sub quality panini is an absolute joke and I will not be...

It’s been a while to vist Costa Coffee and it used to be of my favs.I had an oat cappuccino, small size, totally blunt and watery charged at £3.65! the small size. Tried the espresso, as I needed a nice coffee after a long day , and was so bitter and tasteless I just left.
