I wanted to share my recent experience at your Costa location on 07/10/24 around 7:30 am. I was sitting there for about 10-15 minutes, finishing up on my work, when a staff member named Bianca approached me and asked if I was planning to buy anything. I informed her that I would be making a purchase on my way out.
After I finished my work, I started to head towards the queue, but as I was packing my things and walking around to get to the tills, Bianca shouted, “EXCUSE ME YOU NEED TO BUY SOMETHING NOW.” I explained that I was just trying to get to the tills since there was a long queue, and I found her tone quite inappropriate, especially since she raised her voice in front of other customers. She insisted that I was heading towards the exits, which shocked me. I felt unfairly targeted, and her attitude was quite disappointing. I have never experienced anything like this before, and I was taken aback by the lack of an apology for her behaviour.
This experience has been really upsetting for me. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable in a place where I usually enjoy spending time. I am writing to file a complaint about a rude staff member and bad service I experienced at the South Ealing Costa Coffee location on. I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received and I would like to bring this to your attention.
During my visit to the South Ealing Costa Coffee, I was treated rudely by one of the staff members. She was dismissive of my question. Additionally, the quality of the coffee I received was poor and did not meet the standards I have come to expect from Costa Coffee.
I was very disappointed with my experience and I believe that the behavior of the staff member was unacceptable. I would be grateful if action will be taken to ensure that all staff members are trained to provide excellent customer service.
I have been a loyal customer of Costa Coffee for many years and I would like to continue to support the company. However, I cannot do so if the level of service and quality of products is not up to par.

Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with the staff at this cafe around 6:50pm today 06/03/2925. My husband entered the cafe and needed to use the bathroom before purchasing anything. When he politely asked the staff where the bathroom was, the staff (south asian lady) responded by saying, "No, I’m not telling you," and repeatedly refused to answer when he asked why. She then insisted that he should have asked where the bathroom was upon entering the cafe. This is incredibly poor customer service and completely unprofessional. Her tone of voice was very inappropriate and insulting. She also then proceeded to laugh at my husband and ridiculed him in-front of other customers. My husband is a civil engineer and was wearing his work pants and I strongly feel he was discriminated and treated poorly. It’s important to treat all customers with respect and kindness.
