AVOID struggling to give it 1 star this is the worst fish and chip shop in Ealing can’t even cook the basics of chips right 🙄 they had a strange odd yellow colour and were very oily. Chips were undercooked inside with chewy texture on outside but not soft crispy and fluffy. Paid for a Large but only received a child’s sized portion 🤷♂️ Tasteless flavour 🤮 threw straight in bin just glad i wasted no more than £3.20 and brought nothing else. Do NOT eat from here even if your really hungry and or drunk the quality is disgusting and when i visited in early evening it was empty which was a red flag. Also, found it weird that you hand over your cash for purchase through a hole in a huge sheet of clear persplex acrylic plastic 😂 that covers the whole counter which gives the impression that the shop is still stuck in past covid 19...
Read moreExcellent fish -right up there with the best I've had in the UK- from an unassuming venue run by a sweet couple. I've had cod and haddock here a few times and it's been consistently flavoursome, perfectly cooked and the batter is a very nice consistency. And do yourself a favour and try with a squeeze of lemon (supply your own) rather than vinegar -The flavour of good fish deserves something more subtle than overpowering fumes of an industrial byproduct;-) NB cash only so...
Read moreReally was not good, poor quality small fish, not large flakes of meaty cod at all, oily tough batter, what a shame we had high hopes but left disappointed. Really don’t know how it has over 4 stars, the worst chips that were hard and chewy and worst curry sauce, grey and gloopy only fit for the bin. Really don’t waste your money here, you have plenty of other...
