During our recent visit to celebrate Mother's Day, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Memet, who was super friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

We indulged in a selection of dishes from the special Mother's Day menu that left a lasting impression. Starting with the Lamb Shank, it was beautifully tender and flavorful, slow-cooked to perfection, and served with a rich gravy that complemented the meat wonderfully. Each bite melted in our mouths, showcasing the chef's skill in balancing flavours.

The Macaroni Cheese was another highlight, with its creamy, cheesy sauce enveloping perfectly cooked pasta. Topped with a golden crust, it was both indulgent and comforting—definitely a must-try for cheese lovers.

For those who enjoy steak, the Sirloin Steak was cooked to our preference, juicy, and well-seasoned. Accompanied by crispy chips, it was a hearty offering that satisfied our cravings for a classic meal.

To wash it all down, we enjoyed refreshing glasses of Prosecco and cold beer. The drinks added a festive touch to our meal, enhancing the overall experience.

This was our first time visiting since Mehmet took the restaurant over, what was once Flame & Fire is now the Mosiac Kitchen. With a new menu, new chef and new waiting staff we were unsure what to expect but we needn't have worried, Mehmet is an amazing host along with the waitress Fatma, they are both very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, steaks, fish, pasta, salads and vegetarian options. We both went for the burger and we were not disappointed, as I am not a fan of skin on chips I asked for them without the skin, they were happy to oblige and they were gorgeous. The burger was fresh so could be cooked to our liking which was medium so it retained a lot of the delicious juices, it came in a toasted brioche bun with lettuce, cheese, tomato, pickles and a tasty onion relish, it was so big I could hardly get my mouth around it! Needless to say it was delicious and very filling! All in all it was a lovely meal with great service and we will definitely be returning! Mehmet mentioned that he will be adding more traditional Turkish dishes to the menu soon (can't wait), that he sources all his fresh meat from the Hook & Cleaver butchers on South Ealing Road and also that all the fresh fruit and vegetables are actually grown in his own greenhouse which is definitely a bonus. We took a 30min drive for an impromptu dinner and were really happy we did. We were greeted by the guy doing front of house who was fantastic, there was three more other tables, one being a large group, he looked after all of us really well, he knew his regulars, keeping an eye out if someone was trying to get his attention, all while serving, cleaning tables, running the bar etc.

We ordered the calamari for starters, which was a lovely to have with semolina rather than batter. For mains my partner had the lamb shank and I had the chicken supreme. I wasn't able to finish my meal, but they were happy to pack it up for me. Both mains tasted fantastic, clean tastes, good meat and its Neal to have a meal with lots of veg on the plate, every element of each place tasted really good. Even the chicken supreme warmed up in a pan at home still tasted great.
