Crispy Dosa Harrow — Restaurant in London

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a generally positive experience. While the service itself was just okay in terms of speed and flow, the overall dining experience was elevated by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of our server. The dishes were absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear the kitchen takes great pride in their work.

What really stood out to me was how helpful and attentive our server was throughout the meal. Even though the pace of service could have been smoother, the server made up for it with a genuinely warm and friendly attitude. They checked in frequently without being intrusive, made excellent recommendations from the menu, and ensured our table had everything we needed.

Sometimes, great food alone isn’t enough to make a dining experience memorable, but in this case, the combination of incredible flavors and a caring server made all the difference. Subject - Disappointing Experience Despite Previous Satisfaction

I visited your restaurant again to enjoy the delicious food I had previously experienced. I travelled all the way from Norwich, Norfolk, specifically because of the great impression I had last time.

Unfortunately, my recent visit was very disappointing. I ordered Idli and Masala Dosa, but initially only received the Idli. I assumed the Dosa would follow, but after I finished the Idli, the waiter simply asked if I needed anything else—clearly indicating he had forgotten to place the Dosa order. I eventually received the Dosa 10 minutes later.

Additionally, I ordered a Paper Roast with oil, but it was served with ghee instead. Thankfully, I am not allergic to dairy—otherwise this could have resulted in a serious medical emergency. When I asked the waiter about it, he casually responded that the chef had forgotten.

At the end, the only action taken was the removal of the service charge. Nothing more was done to address the mistakes or inconvenience caused.

This experience was quite disheartening, especially considering the effort I made to return. Sadly, I won’t be coming back...

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. We started with the mini idlis, which were essentially just regular idlis roughly chopped into pieces. They were nothing like the soft, bite-sized mini idlis I was expecting. To add to the disappointment, we also ordered the manchow soup, which tasted awful—just like bland colored water, with none of the rich, savory flavors one would expect from a good manchow soup.

For the mains, we ordered dosas, and the situation didn’t improve. The masala dosa lacked any real flavor of masala, leaving it tasting rather plain. The ghee dosa, on the other hand, was burnt and unappetizing. The chutney served with each dish was barely a tablespoon, not even enough for one portion. We asked for more chutney several times, but despite our requests, the waiters never brought it. We had to remind them over four times, which was extremely frustrating.

Overall, the food and service were incredibly disappointing. I expected so much more, but unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning...
