Hands down the best Turkish food!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Many thanks and credit goes to Chef Mehti and his team! I love Turkish food and always on a hunt to find the one where I could say, Best one so far and at the moment that search has ended here! Have tried Fora and Almas in St.Johns wood, Gökyüzü in Kentish town, Aysu in Harrow and would say this is the best far! What’s makes it so good ? Taste 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Price 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 value for money!! Service 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️excellent Location 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️(walking distance from the station - met line) Portion/ Quantity- 👌👌👌👌👌 We did a walk-in and the staff was very courteous. Post the order was taken, we were served with complimentary basket of fresh bread ( hot), and accompaniment like 2 sauces, tzatziki. bowl of salad comes along with the main dish! The red spicy sauce was very tasty and edible. When I have eaten at other places it’s too hot 🥵 to even just taste it, let alone having it with bread. We order 2 main dishes - chicken casserole/guvec and chicken sish ( large , comes with 8 peices). Both are served with mixed rice. Total bill was 38 pounds! Totally worth it! Guvec is a MUST TRY!!! Perfect blend of spiced, saucy, good amount of chicken! Very succulent. Absolutely delicious, sumptuous, satisfying your taste buds and your tummy!!! Soulful food!!! Thank you Team Melissa and chef Mehti! I did pass my compliments to the chef Mehti and he was very cordial!! The gentlemen who served us was very attentive, prompt, and pleasant as well, missed getting his name. Will def visit again!!!

Food: Really good. I think that this is one of the few times that I've been to a place that serves shish and they manage to serve moist chicken. The fact that this has happened highlights the skills of the chef. The donor meat and chips my friend has were also pretty good. The desserts in general were OK, solid if unspectacular. Service: Generally, pretty good. The wait staff are attentive and are willing to give you time and space to order and are happy to help. One minor blotch in this was when I asked about what were the vegetables used in the salad portions, to ensure I got exactly what I wanted and not have wasted any salad. However despite this, the service was good and efficient most of the time and the wait staff do have a strong backbone for service. Atmosphere: For me personally, the music was a little bit too loud during some parts of my meal, but otherwise being able to see other diners having a lot of fun and enjoying themselves means it's a nice and comfy place to visit. Melissa was given the unenviable task of feeding me and my friend who were extremely hungry with one of us not eaten all day but not only are they efficient, they serve great food and provide solid service! I will undoubtedly visit again and I think Melissa may have become one of my first choices forrestaurant to bring friends who visit this area!

Melissa Harrow is a charming, upscale restaurant that offers a modern twist on classic Turkish cuisine. Nestled in the heart of the city, Harrow, the restaurant immediately impresses with its elegant decor — soft lighting, chic minimalist furniture, and a warm ambiance perfect for a date night or celebratory dinner. Upon entering, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The service remained impeccable throughout the evening, with our server demonstrating deep knowledge of the menu and wine pairings. The food was a delightful experience. For starters we ordered mix hot and cold mexe , it was delicious and beautifully presented. For the main course, I opted for Maxi platter with a red wine reduction, which was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and paired with seasonal vegetables that complemented the dish well. My dining family chose the wild mushroom and halloumi grill which was rich, and equally satisfying. Dessert didn’t disappoint either — the Baklava was with pistachio and served with whipped cream that balanced sweetness and depth beautifully. While on the pricier side, the quality of food, ambiance, and service at Melissa Harrow made it a memorable experience. Highly recommended for special occasions or anyone seeking refined dining.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Melissa Restaurant Harrow, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The hygiene standards here are impeccable—tables are spotless, utensils are neatly arranged, and the entire place gives off a fresh, welcoming vibe. It's clear they take sanitation seriously, which is always reassuring.

Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish was a burst of flavor! From the appetizers to the main courses, each plate was prepared with care and packed with deliciousness. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Whether you're a fan of spicy dishes or prefer something more savory, their menu has something for everyone, and each item I tried was a hit.

The portions? Absolutely generous! Unlike many places where you leave feeling half-full, here you definitely get your money's worth. Each dish was served in hearty portions, and it’s clear they don’t skimp on ingredients. You’ll likely leave with leftovers, but that’s not a bad thing when the food is this good!

Lastly, the staff deserve a special mention. From the moment we arrived, the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly especially Alissa is the best :) They made sure we were comfortable and checked in frequently to see if everything was to our satisfaction, all while maintaining a pleasant, unobtrusive presence. It's not often that you find a place where both the food and service are top-notch, but Melissa Restaurant delivers on both fronts.

If you're looking for a place with excellent hygiene, tasty food, big portions, and a friendly atmosphere, look no further than Melissa Restaurant. It’s easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time!...

Before booking the table for my son’s 4th birthday I had gone to the restaurant personally to advise that all the people coming are vegetarian and had asked if they cater for vegetarian? Staff had shown me the menu, with all the vegetarian dishes and had said there can change few things for children if there are fussy eaters. So it sounded all good so had gone ahead to book the table. On the day of his birthday when everyone arrived and was taking their seats I spoke to the staff to start ordering the food and reminded them of everyone being vegetarian. Staff said sorry we cannot accommodate has their use the same oil and surface has the meat and it’s not a normal norm for them to advice customers that their do this. I was so shocked 😮 with the response and I could hear the small kids crying in the background cos there were all so hungry. I asked why wasn’t I made aware of this on the day I booked the table? I also asked is it not UK standers to make customers aware of this? In reply I was told their don’t know this. I feel the owner needs to revisit the UK’s national food standards. If you are offering vegetarian options and using the same fat and surface has meat then you are not been honest with your customers. We had to leave and try and find last minute place to celebrate my son’s birthday. It was so disappointing and...
