Lovely cafe restaurant located in Muswell Hill. Variously dishes. Tasty food. I love the coffee latte. Is oy dining outside but don't bother me. I visit this place with my daughter even during a rain weather. U can sit in a clear bubble or find under the different name dome house. There is warm and cozy. Crocodile Cafe provide a playhouse with toys inside for kids under 5 and even 5+. My daughter is 7 years old and she still loves to play there. There is always busy, so looks like people like this place, and I have no doubt about it. The background is just lovely. Flowers and imitation of birds everywhere, beautiful decorations on lights. A lot of green plants around and there is a pound with a catfishes and random coloured carps. Friendly and kind customer service and nice people all around. Dogs friendly place. I am visiting often.

A real local gem! A great place to meet friends over a cafe meal, a coffee/tea and cake, or even just to chill out with a book. Tucked away at the back of Crocodile Antiques (really a gift shop with a better quality selection of gifts, trinkets and some very nice cards and collectibles), or down a passage between M&S and Starbucks. Would suggest a coffee here is money better spent then next door. Passageway is signposted by a silver pole with a mug on top, also on silver! Just popped in to pick up a lovely cold coffee on a hot day and the outdoor area was buzzing. See the photos!

The Crocodile Cafe is a real Muswell Hill institution. It was a regular haunt of ours when the kids were growing up and our recent visit was our first in a while, thankfully it remains as good as ever. We popped in for a bit of brunch and sat outside with our little dog. Food was excellent and well cooked and the service friendly and attentive. Whilst you are there don't forget the shop at the side where you can pick up all manner of nice bits!

Visited today as a frequent customer and ordered a green juice and scrambled eggs on toast with two sausages as an add on. When I ordered the green juice the lady checked they had all the ingredients as she wasn't sure and came back and confirmed that was the case so proceded to order. When the food arrived I cut in to the second sausage and it was raw inside, I know the difference between a cooked sausage and a raw one and having just eaten the first one I knew 100% it was raw so I took it inside and said it was raw to which three members of staff started gaslighting me telling me it wasn't and that's the way it's meant to be so I asked how come the other one wasn't pink then and was cooked and they said that it was overcooked. I've never heard something so ridiculous in my life, I didn't want another sausage or a refund I simply wanted them to know and that's what I got told. A few hours have passed and I have just been sick and don't feel at all. Once I mentioned about the food and returned to my table my drink finally arrived and having had it multiple times it tasted completely different so again I went inside to mention it and I got told they dont have any lemon or lime to which I said oh well when I ordered they said they had all the ingredients as the lady checked and I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise as thats why I like it to which I got told that she didn't say that as they don't have any lemon or lime. As a frequent customer I will not be returning and I would avoid of you don't want to be gaslit and feel like you're...

My boyfriend and I came in for a late brunch. He ordered a fish sandwich and chips which he throughly enjoyed. I ordered an avocado and bacon sandwich, which on the menu says comes with lettuce and Mayo inside. I also ordered some chips and a poached egg on the side. When my food came, it had no avocado, Mayo or lettuce inside. I send it back telling the café employee that it was missing items. It’s then handed back to me at the table with avocado and Mayo added in. I go back and ask about the lettuce and she’s like it’s meant to be on the side. However, from my boyfriend’s sandwich I can see the lettuce was meant to be inside because his was (his lettuce was inside and he said it was because that’s what it said it came with on the menu), and he also had the same salad chucked on the side of the plate like mine which the lady had claimed was lettuce for my sandwich. My sandwich said it came with lettuce in the menu too. However, the lady decided to gaslight me. Don’t come here unless you want to be gaslit on your own order. These people couldn’t care less. My boyfriend has been a fan of the food here for years, however the terrible customer service means we won’t...

Not nice this one. The cafe is normally cute with friendly staff ( we used to visit often ). But there were different people at the counter and serving … cos the lady taking the orders was not very friendly … no smile … and the man serving was definitely goofing up the orders … and May be that’s led to this mismanagement of orders . We ordered some food for my kid and coffee and juice. They gave the coffee and juice to someone else and inspite of the man telling me it’s a bit delayed he eventually tells me that they lost the order and had given it to some one else after half and hour ) and the man cracks some joke and laughs loudly amongst themselves about it ! Forget having any empathy for making someone else wait .. they laugh about it ! It was a strange and embarrassing, as it felt odd .. as to why they were joking and laughing. I mean how did he give it to someone else when there are order numbers ? They gave me cash back for the juice and coffee but it’s the experience not the money that matters. 😮 anyways, jolly decent places to visit around here with your kid...
