Smallest portion for by far the most expensive price for a take away - but this is an expensive area so I accept something has to give! However i have to say the food was not as tasty as other Caribbean food places I eat at (except for yum yums in Lymington Ave N22 as its under new management &absolutely vile!) This food was a 3 out of 5 but the festival was greasy yet dry as hell and the curry goat had so much grease in it so along with the festival was inedible. I don’t particularly get the feeling of authenticity with this food but then again I’m used to onion/garlic & thyme flavours coming through alongside the meat flavour but with this there was none. May have been an off day as it was extremely late at night but this was the second time iv ordered from them with similar results so there definitely wont be a third I’m afraid (but appreciate other people love this place!)

If I could give a ZERO I would. The roti was extremely salty and inedible. The cake was very dry- as if left out in the open, no moisture no nothing. I called the store immediately and they told me to microwave the roti and cake despite it having a cream filling. I've ordered from this place numerous times and today very unhappy. Everything already seemed like it had been microwaved three times. Go to the store and you'll see them microwave your food in PLASTIC. All the food was thrown in the bin and Uber eats wouldn't refund me. I always support black businesses and Will NEVER order from here again. Waste of money! Don't bother ordering from here. Terrible customer service, shame on you.

Absolutely delicious! The jerk chicken was perfectly spiced and tender, the fried plantains were sweet, and the coleslaw was a refreshing delight. The curry goat was also a standout, rich and flavorful. I highly recommend this spot for an authentic and satisfying Jamaican meal.

If I could of given it a ZERO star I would of because its the worse example of real Caribbean/Jamaican food. The quality and quantity of food was not acceptable for the price your paying. The rice and peas was old, dry and trashy and was absolutely flavourless, the chicken was meant to be jerk but I think Curtis forgot to even season the chicken much less being jerked I couldn't believe the meals didn't even come with a side salad or vegetables considering your paying £7.50 and £8 and the other awful meal was half a box of ackee and saltfish well it was all peppers, onion and a few pieces of saltfish spreaded out to look plentyful but it was so disappointing I think I had 4 piece of ackee which was meant to be a large serving. That was my 1st time ordering and trust me I will not be wasting my money again and definitely will not be recommending that place to anyone the nicest part of my meal was adding my own salad, coleslaw and avocado. IT WAS VERY SAD AND DISAPPOINTING the service was ok but when we called to make a complaint he (Curtis) was very rude And laughing saying that's how we do are food and have been for years....

Good customer service and friendly environment! Really disappointed with microwave reheated soggy pattie. As we all know patties are about being flaky and fresh out the oven or reheated in the oven. Jerk chicken is really disappointing (shouldn't be called jerk as there was no seasoning AT ALL ...Mc Donalds chicken nuggets has more flavour) tasted like it was seasoned with salt only. This restaurant caters to the taste buds of white people. How dare you give black people that chicken and claim its jerk? (like to say we haven't grown up on jerk) so disrespectful. I ended up giving the chicken to my cat who had no problems eating it (I never feed my cat jerk chicken because of the spices and seasoning but I had no issue feeding her this). Unfortunately this is the last time I'll be spending my money there. My advice would be to purchase a commercial food display warmer that will keep the patties warm & flaky instead of using the microwave and I also suggest having two options for the jerk chicken a plain and proper jerk version. How about you cater to the black people that do support your business and not just the...

I ordered from here because my usual Brown Eagle was closed. I have rated this place 1 star because the Rice and Peas and oxtail i had was beautifully cooked. So I want my review to be kind and constructive. The food wasn't unpleasant at all, but it lacked the basic flavours that would make it Jamaican. The rice and peas didnt taste or smell of any coconut milk or any of the herbs which its supposed to be cooked with. The oxtail, though perfectly cooked, was perfectly flavourless too. There was some flavour of something (maybe browning and season salt aka msg), but none of the flavours that should be present. I am led to believe all the good reviews are by people who aren't Jamaican and if they are, they have not really had much Jamaican food in their lifetimes. Needless to say im still hungry because my tastebuds have been left wanting.

Also ordered the Guinness Punch. Its got too much condensed milk and not enough Guinness.

Altogether it was a disappointment and wouldnt reorder or...
