Not a good experience from the start. Staff are blunt and jarring either speaking to you like an infant or like they don’t care. One actually managed to combine to two which takes skill. After paying almost £50 for 2 toasties, a tiny portion of chips (that actually came in a little mug), 2 cold drinks, a coffee and a cream tea for 2 we sat and were told by the unfriendly waitress that brought our hot drinks that they had run out of jam for the scones and did we want honey? Obviously not- so we asked for a refund. Hardly any cakes- we came at about half 2. Display was practically empty and hadn’t been condensed or anything. Toasties had hardly any filling and no cheese at all in the tuna one. The red dip they give with them is disgusting. Chips were fries and mostly thin crunchy greasy things with a VERY light dust of salt. No flavour. Bread was hard at the edges. The teacup was the same size as my toddler’s toy tea set. My 1.5 year olds sun glasses in the picture are for size reference. No one came over to check if all was well, and while sat here right now they are serving hot drinks in takeaway cups because they have ‘run out of mugs’ and yet tables all around are covered in dirty dishes. Food is not worth the money at all, service is listless and off putting. Shame as the park is lovely and the location of the cafe is great- just needs to be a different cafe and team I think.

I just love this place! My family and I are regulars here, and the cafe itself has recently been refurbished and has beautiful interior and a newly built conservatory area attached as well as seating outside! I always have a hot chocolate and a portion of Daisy's homemade chips which are amazing I must say!! The staff are very friendly and I know most of them as I go there often! It does get busy on the weekends and sometimes I will book a table if we are going on a weekend to ensure we have a table! There are books and some small toys for children to read whilst in the cafe and the most lovely little gift shop! Beautifully located in the stunning pinner park, it's not too big, and has a great play park for the little ones! There is limited parking next to cafe and a much bigger car park at the bottom of the park just off of Marsh Road or chapel lane depending on which way you come from! Parking is 80p per hour and free on Sunday 🙂

This is a really cute place to have Sri k or bite to eat. My friend and I went for breakfast and it was tasty. We both opted for the vegetarian breakfast which they happily substituted the tomatoes for a different veg (extra mushrooms or potato Rosti). The breakfast was a generous portion size. The cappuccino and hot chocolate were also very good. The only thing we didn’t like was the veggie bacon which was part of the vegetarian breakfast so next time would try to substitute that. There was easy parking in the car park (which is not managed by the cafe) but there are limited spaces. The venue is clean and cosy and the staff were very friendly. They have hand sanitiser as you enter the venue which is good incase you forget yours. This place seems friendly to all as there were people with babies and children, elderly and groups who looked like they’re were in their 20s-30s in there. Looking forward to our next visit.

I’m honestly appalled by the experience I had here. The rudeness of the three staff members was shocking, even with the most basic interaction, like placing an order, they were dismissive and unpleasant. Any request felt like a chore to them, and they made it very clear they didn’t want to be there.

At one point, I politely asked for a glass with lemon and ice for our warm bottles of Sprite, and the woman behind the till literally rolled her eyes at me. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional.

Despite the venue having a hygiene rating of 5, what I saw was far from hygienic. That same staff member walked to and from the kitchen carrying lemon slices in her bare hands, the same hands she used to operate the till and handle other surfaces. It was careless and honestly quite off-putting.

To make matters worse, a lady behind me bought a cake from the counter and was about to leave when she discovered a dead wasp on it. The staff couldn’t have cared less, no apology, no concern, just total indifference.

The toilets were disgusting. Not a single cubicle had toilet paper, and the overall state of the bathroom was filthy.

There were no pleasantries no “please,” no “thank you” just abrupt, cold service that made the entire visit uncomfortable.

I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even basic hygiene or...

Went with a 2 year old Grandson to the park. At 11.30am he got hungry and thought we will try and feed him at the cafe. No outside tables available. Asked the Waiter for a table and he said first come first serve. Waited on one side. 2 tables got empty and somebody else grabbed them. Now its 11.45am, Grandson wanted a popcorn packet, there was a long 15 minute Que, we wanted to just pay for the popcorn, go home and make his lunch and feed him. The till operator wiuld not take the money and asked to join the Que, rightfully so, under normal circumstances, then she said only if the next customer doesnt mind, who looked like he was a great grandfather. When asked he said nothing looking at my wife with disgust with no empathy at all. He very well understood english as he was indigenous, although we arent but our children and grandchildren are born here and we were born with British passports under the British empire and are equally British. We very well felt bieng discriminated due to our skin colour, something i havent felt for a long time. Most people were retired and just having a coffee and they missed trade for 3 lunches. A section dedicated for food only would be most welcome. I cant chage other people, but i can change myself not to rely on...
