I could easily say one of my favourite Ethiopian joints. I’m not kind of person who can finish his plate but on this one I finish all my plate and I need to ask for more. The injera was dark gluten-free perfect in its flavour profile. the lamb and the lentils spinach and beetroot . (but missing same mix salad) but all complemented the dish extremely well. Worth exploring. Really some of the best Ethiopian I've had anywhere, If you want to try something different, I certainly recommend this Ethiopian delina restaurant, in Shepherd’s Bush Market. it’s selection of dishes and authentic cuisine is awesome. For those who've never tried it before, Ethiopian food comes on a large dark (especially in this restaurant tgluten-free ) . (injera) pancake with a variety of dishes which are then served on top and then eaten by hand. Food is spicy and flavour some but not hot (chili hot), it's worth trying a meal platter to get a selection of veterans, beef, lamb and chicken dishes to sample. Prices are very reasonable and quality is outstanding. Dishes are very flavourful and well prepared. Thanks Delina restaurant for lovely...
Read moreHighly recommend this establishment. I came here a while back as I was in the area and wanted to try something new. I had the Awaze Tibs which was an absolutely lovely beef dish. I also really appreciated the heads up before ordering as I was warned it would be quite spicy. As someone who loves spice it was honestly amazing, but it could definitely be considered too spicy for anyone who isn’t too fond of spicy meals. The dish was served with Injera, which is an Ethopian fermented flatbread. I honestly hadn’t tasted anything like it before so it was a positive surprise. The ambiance in the restaurant was really lovely as well with the smell of the incense. The service was amazing, I am really appreciative of the woman I interacted with because she gave me great recommendations and was really kind. I also recommend trying out the Ethopian beer that they offer.
Overall, definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. I will definitely be...
Read moreWe were super excited to try Ethiopian food and had read great things about Delina, a cosy and colourful restaurant hidden within Shepherd’s Bush market.
The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating, even happy to take a dish away and replace it with another when we said it was a little too spicy for us.
The food is a must try, an explosion of different flavours.
I’m marking down by one star mainly because they didn’t honour a Meerkat Rewards discount despite being listed on the app, that was a little disappointing as we’d found Delina via that list.
We paid £25 per person (three adults) plus drinks for a selection of dishes (see photo), there was also a lamb curry and some rice out of shot. We were also served traditional Ethiopian coffee included in that price. Perhaps a little steep, but worth it for the experience.
All in all, definitely...
