Impressive. Quality is obvious from the get-go. Such a contrast to the busy car-dominated environment next to it. Generous size buffalo mozzarella with perfect avocado and prosciutto as a starter. One of us had creamy tortellini with mixed mushrooms. Al dente and very tasty. I had a chili tomato penne. Perfect rich tomato sauce with sweet grilled onion, exactly what I would expect in a small Italian village. This place is crowded and small, you may need some luck to get a table. If you’re in Crystal Palace, skip the triangle and head here instead.

We, family of 4, were warmly greeted by Gianni, he was very busy rolling out the pizza dough! And it’s only Weds evening. Loved the cosy atmosphere and music, although I didn’t hear Dean Martin but hey the pizzas were absolutely delicious, my youngest son thought it was way better than Pizza Express. They don’t serve wine but that doesn’t matter, I’m advised to pop across the road to Bobs Wine and bring the bottle back. I definitely would recommend Dell’Angolo for great Pizzas, you won’t be disappointed.

Such a lovely restaurant. Yes it’s a little cosy and not a great many tables. But the service by the staff was excellent and the food was really delicious! I had the bread and olives, this is a lot of food for the price. The lasagna was cooked very well and very cheesy. Great priced food and great service!

Give this a MISS BIG TIME - used a few times only as convenient location, food ok BUT..... Customer service is ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. My wife had grit in her tortellini from the mushrooms and explained it was inedible BUT was told by the (female) owner it wasn’t her fault, they come out of a packet so nothing she can do, and walked off. We called the owner back and my wife said she cannot eat it because of the grit, which was met with a sign and, “I can change for a SMALL starter if that’s what you want”. My wife replied no thank you. The owner walked off leaving the plate of inedible food on table. We asked for the bill and was charged for the gritty pasta. I told her to remove it and was confronted with a big sigh, rolling of the eyes and told” Well it’s not my fault that’s how it comes”. The owner has zero customer service skills, and lacks any kind of empathy and care for her customers. EXTREMELY confrontational and unhelpful. Our friends who have also visited there once had a similar experience and said they would not be going back. Please think twice...

Please note that the opening hours displayed here and on their website are NOT accurate. This business has extremely erratic opening hours and is mostly closed.

It's absolutely bizarre.

Over the course of 4 years we have tried on many occasions to visit this restaurant.

I know that a business operates here as I have occasionally seen it open at seemingly random days and times, but every time we try to go it is closed. We check the opening hours here and on their website and it will say it is open but when you get there the shutters are down.

We are not trying to go at odd times either, I'm talking about prime business hours. For example I'm writing this review at 7.30pm on a Friday night. Google maps and their website suggest it is open. It is not. This must be the dozenth time this has happened! I'm giving up, we won't try again!

I can only assume it's some kind of passion project and the owners open when they feel like, but it would be better for local residents if they vacate the premises and let someone who actually wants to open a...

I went in to pick up a takeaway menu (1 of approximately 10-15 basic black and white A5 sheets that were situated in front of the counter, labelled ‘takeaway menus’) As I was walking out, the man behind the counter bellowed at me to return it because there’s not many left. I found the experience rude and embarrassing as all the customers in the shop, and immediately outside it were staring.

I’d recommend removing the takeaway menu’s altogether if they’re not for customers to take away, to prevent people being humiliated and shouted at like they’ve stolen something. Needless to say I won’t be returning and I did not feel particularly inspired to “take a picture of the menu from the outside” of the shop as the...
