Dhaka Biryani — Restaurant in London

AVOID THIS SCAM RESTAURANT!!!!!!!!

I placed an order for ifthaar party. Menu was chicken tikka biriyani, kisuri, sana biran and fiyazi. I was left in shame upon what i was served. I agreed to have black sana biran when i first placed my order. I called up the following day to reconfirm and to my contrary my order had been misinterpreted. I repeated my order again and had a family member go and place a deposit for the order.

Upon the day of collection, the guy in the restaurant refused black sana and advised we had ordered for white sana we accepted the change in sana as we were running out if time. The guy handed 2 containers of sana curry instead of biran! The kisuri had no salt and we paid for 3 fiyazi per head for 20 people which should have totalled to 60 fiyazi we received 2 paper containers of fiyazi which totalled to 18! I have never been so disappointed in biriyani in my LIFE. I could have gone to any random restaurant claiming to be 'authentic' and had biriani better than this. It is a crime to call this kachchi because kachchi is not made with this type of meat OR rice! The specialty of Kachchi biriyani is embedded in the giant soft potatoes - this biriyani didn't even have potatoes to begin with! I am so angry that they called it kachchi and even more so angry at people who commented that this pace has 'authentic' kachchi biriyani because clearly they have never had real kachchi in their life. As for those who said that they liked the biriyani - that's fair (because biriyani isn't the same as kachchi biriyani), although I disagree because it was extremely dry. Also, in Dhaka, they do not serve random veg curry with biriyani! These people ought to change the name of the shop because it doesn't seem to me that they have any idea about authentic...

SAVE YOURSELF AND AVOID!

If you want your food cold, stale and provided by a loud obnoxious man who hires clueless workers, this is the place to go for food catering! The owner will make false promises stating that he can provide everything you want in terms of food and service then fails to meet every criteria and has the cheek to keep all the money. They provided the food in the wrong order, no leadership or communication between servers. Had to ask for items to be served multiple times only for the requests to fall on deaf ears. The manager showed up 3 hours late after the chaotic service was over. Some of the servers were even dishing out the desserts before they even finished serving the main course. Incompetent and a waste of your time to even consider...
