Our first visit... great little gem of a place just behind The Royal London Hospital. Brilliant group exhibition on at the moment, wonderful display space situated in two interlocking Victorian terrace houses. Obviously not in full swing at the moment with Covid restrictions, but we're certainly looking forward to seeing some performance art in their outside space one day soon. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little gallery I've been going to in the Whitechapel area for years.

Part owner, music producer Shaun McCluskey takes a hands-on role, ensuring they always have exciting and relevant shows.

Situated in a converted former terrorist row house, there's even a nice back garden (which is where you'll find the loo!).

Everything I have been to at this Whitechapel gallery has been top notch. Loved the current show Pop Now and the recent Lumps show was brilliant. No vanity shows, no stand-offish gallery assistants watching every move. Every time I have been to Gallery 46 there's been great art and I have met really interesting people.
