It was Iftar time me and a couple of people were in a rush to find a good place. We came across this shop and I heard great things from the people I know that came here . As a local guide I had to check this place out. Alhamdulillah it was amazing we came pretty much last minute but their customer service was on point and made sure we can get a table. We were able to pray Magrib together with a bunch of people at the bottom which was nice. Onto the food The Hollywood Chicken Burger Single was really good an 8/10 the sauce was really nice and went well with it. I also tried The Hollywood Beef Burger double with my brother which was a 7.5/10 but maybe my brother gave it an 8.5/10; chips I would say were a 7/10 if sauce came with it that would be nice and it might be an 8/10. The appetisers Calamari was unique I have to give it a 7.5/10 since it was nice and crispy chicken out a stick with a soothing sauce. The summer hot sauce Buffalo Chicken wings was an 8.5/10 it wasn't spicy but tasty by far due to the sauce. The food for 3 people was close to 50 pounds and was 100% worth the price . Thank you for your patience and I loved the fact we were told that food could take up to 1 hour which was understandable due to the time we came but the food was done in 25 minutes and it didn't seemed rushed cus the presentation and the quality didn't feel rushed.☺

There is a lot of things that I would like to say about my experience at this restaurant but I do not have time to write so I will be brief and concise. 1. The service was terrible, they brought us the food without cutlery and without drinks. I had to stand up twice and ask for it at the counter. 2. The food was way too spicy. We asked for medium spicy but the food was so spiced that we ended up crying at the table. 3. The smoke from kitchen was so thick that we thought the restaurant caught fire. Everyone next to us was coughing... 4. The waiter never apologised for all the mistakes he made, he only smiled and ignored us afterwards. 5. Despite this traumatising experience, we were given no discount/free dessert, and we were asked to pay the bill IN FULL. 6. The restaurant does not take payments by card so we had to walk all the way to Tesco in the COLD and the RAIN. 😲 😱 I will never ever ever ever come back to this restaurant again, and honestly, if you are starving and walking past this restaurant, I beg you to not stop. Thank you for reading. Goodbye.

✔️Food was above average ✔️Staff were friendly ✔️The speed of the service was quick (maybe a bit too quick because we didn't even get to finish the starter before the mains came along). ❌The messy booking system - it didn't really seem like there was a system in place. ❌ 'cash only' - still in 2023? Not many of us carry cash anymore. There isn't even an ATM within a few minutes of the place. ❌Allergies - not very accommodating or flexible for people with allergies. As someone with fish allergies, I couldn't eat any of the starter options (excluding the wings) because they fry it all in the same oil. They didn't offer to fry the non-fish starters items separate when we asked. ❌Restrictions on tap water - this was a bizarre one, every restaurant I've been to, you can ask for tap water or a jug free of charge but this place limited us to 2 glasses, not per person but for our table of 4. If you're looking for casual dining with comfort food, this place is a safe option but don't expect them to accommodate any of your requests if you avoid specific foods or spices.

This place is absolutely amazing. I went here as I had time before my screening at the Genesis cinema (very well situated for a pre or post film meal, 2 minutes walk tops) I must say it was entirely worth it.

I came in and I was greeted with really friendly service. The restaurant itself was really welcoming in how it was decorated and was pleasant to be in, with the wooden theme very prominent and homely.

When ordering, I was already on the fence about ordering a drink, but the waiter pushed the mojitos, saying how fresh it was, and I'm so absolutely glad he did. The Peach mojito was amazing. Refreshing, flavoursome and definitely well paired with the food.

Appetisers I had the Satay Prawn which was amazing, the sauce was rich and played with texture which I love. The chicken pad Thai I ordered (although I put in all the chilli flakes, DO NOT DO THAT, and it was incredibly spicy because of it), I enjoyed as it had lots of flavours, rich of the sauce balancing with fresh of the herb and the soft chicken and the noodles complimenting the grounded nuts.

This place was absolutely amazing, and the only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because of there being no card payments. This has easily been one of my favourite restaurants, bar the lack of card payments. Will most...

I feel bad writing this, I never leave a bad review (check my profile) however on this occasion I must make an exception.

The service was poor, the ambiance terrible, the whole evening was unfortunately a shambles. We ordered, a prawn satay starter and a prawn curry... Should be simple enough eh? 45 minutes later we were brought a chicken curry and asked "why didn't you tell me you're pescatarian"...... We never ordered any chicken, so this question perplexed me. If someone brings me a bottle of Dom Pérignon and I didn't order it, I don't expect them to be questioning me as to why I didn't tell them I don't drink alcohol....

Oh and btw, no alcohol allowed in this restaurant, which for a placed called "Thai n Pie" (Thailand: famous for Singa beer) and "Pie" (which assuming an English pie, England being very famous for beer... And for that matter pies) is ever so slightly ironic wouldn't you say?

Anyway - I can't fault the quality of the dishes we were (finally) served, and the I doubt this is the chef's fault. But as a whole a very disappointing experience.

I truly apologise for leaving this review, I'm sure this was just an off night, everyone is human and we sometimes have bad days. Maybe this was...
