Giovanni and Hido have provided me with amazing service every time I go to mama V's. They know my coffee order, are very responsive to disabilies in my personal experience. They are also warm and welcoming, even when I walk past I just want to go in for a chat and a drink. Also the coffee is amazing - I would go as far as to say it is the best I've had! Such a nice atmosphere also and everyone feels welcome in my experience. They see you as people and not just customers to make money off. An amazing gem of a place and worth a visit! Please try the iced coffee! It is amazing! Cannot recommend enough! I cannot praise Giovanni and Hido enough - they deserve a pay rise for the work they do! A lovely relaxing, welcoming environment. Thank you so much mama V's (particularly Hido and Giovanni) for making my mornings!

Mama V's is also dog friendly which adds to the general feeling of being welcome. Thank...

Unfortunately this was one of the worst coffee shop experiences I’ve ever had! I say unfortunately as the guy serving was really nice. I ordered a black coffee and salmon & cheese bagel, a great combo! I’m not a fussy eater but I could only manage two bites of the bagel, it was awful. The guy serving swapped it for another panini without question. This wasn’t great either but it was edible.

The coffee was the worst I can remember having in a coffee shop. It tasted like Nescafé instant. I had three sips and that was more than enough.

Such a shame as the place looks nice, the member of staff was friendly and the location is excellent, it’s just the product that lets it down. Also no toilet which is never ideal in a...

The place was empty at lunchtime which, given its location, was a concern in itself. Service was transactional. I made the mistake of having a "full English". It was dreadful. Possibly the worst English breakfast I've ever had. A mound of greasy, congealed bacon, rubbery and tasteless sausages and a bit of lethargic sliced bread. The only passable item was the scrambled egg - they come scrambled by default and I wasn't offered a choice. A little pot of lukewarm orange gloop was served on the side - I think it was supposed to be the baked beans but the beans had gone AWOL. Coffee was fine but served lukewarm despite my request for it to be hot. Scores on the doors 3/10. Won't be back and...

Amazing hide out in Clapham. LGBTQi+ Gay friendly space in the heart of Clapham high street village. Myriam made me an excellent cup of Italian roasted coffee from a proper coffee machine. I took a latte which was full roasted and creamy. The space has adequate seating for about 20 to 30 customers. Located next to the station and a couple of gay bars and gay shops selling the essentials for queer folks. The food selection is pretty good with some handmade sandwiches. Highly recommend if your visiting london and want something different. Vauxhall is 15 min away on the train next to the cafe. The cafe turns into a bar in the evenings which I guess is awesome as the music playlist is good.

This was a quick stop-off for a bite to eat and a hot drink and it was adequate. While the service may have lacked a warm welcome, it was pleasant and thorough. My order for a chicken ciabatta was ok but didn't blow me away. The ciabatta was so crusty I was surprised that I hadn't cut my mouth open... the chicken was tasty but dry. It was just ok. Not exceptional value for money but it is a nice enough place to stop. The seating was cosy and inviting. There was little atmosphere but it didn't spoil the experience. The salmon and cream cheese bagel, although was out on display (and not behind any glass, either) was absolutely excellent.
