BLAND FOOD, POOR SERVICE, COCKTAILS FULL OF ICE! My friend and I visited Duo before london was put in tier 3 again. We ordered a sharing platter and 4 cocktails. The food took over an hour to arrive, when people who came after us got their food before us. When our food arrived half of it was missing (which we didn’t realise until we got home, as the food took so long to come) All the food had zero seasoning and the meat tasted like it had been sitting there for a week and had been reheated. Due to this we requested a discount on the food which we received however, I believe this was only due it being closing, if we went earlier in the day I doubt they would of given us any money off. Plus they tried to scam us by not removing the Ā£25 deposit which was meant to go towards the pill! The waiters were only interested in those who looked like influencers as they had their food and drinks arrive quickly and the waiters were extremely friendly towards them. If you’re a regular person do not visit here as you will be ignored.

One of the best cocktail places out there! Their celebrity face cocktails (w pink gin) is amazing - tasty and u can pick from their list of celebrity faces. We had their lychee martini too which was decent (not as aesthetic). The cocktail in the skull glass is their strongest drink if you’re looking to get fully drunk. The blue candy floss cocktail tastes amazing, comes with a cute lollipop as well. I loved their unicorn cocktail (there’s two but I had the one with the ice cream). Idk if the red blood drink in the lil pouch is a halloween special, but tasted good as well. Prices are amazing. Nachos and mac&cheese fritters are quite good too. Cute interiors. Friendly staff. I’d definitely visit again (probably try out their lounge too this time).

We had a fantastic time at Duo for a Birthday brunch celebration. Easy to find the location and walking distance from Camden tube station. The DJ was truly magnificent, he was able to read the room well, played amazing music and knew how to get everyone hyped. We hardly sat down to eat our meals because he created such a vibe we just just wanted to dance! He definitely makes the place pop. The venue decor and design is really fun & cool. Great for taking photos. Food was ok, took a little while to come out but came eventually. Cocktail presentation was fantastic and good value. Overall we had a fantastic time!

An ammature ran club! No one knew what they were doing:

Speakers wasn’t working properly. Sound system was terrible Bouncers didn’t communicate with each other properly No service and was charged service charged without any notice before booking Rude and VERY unprofessional staffs

I was recommended to host my birthday at this brand new place by a friend. I also checked out their ratings and reviews and thought it was pretty decent, but it wasTHE WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve had for a night club.

When I booked a package deal for the night it was not stated there would be a service charge added on top of the package deal price. It was a £50 service charge when there was no service at all. The host only brought the drinks that was from the package deal to our table at the beginning of the night, there was no other service provided throughout the night. Crazy to be charged £50 for someone only bringing drinks I paid over £500 worth to my table. Not as if drinks were poured for my friends and I to be slapped with a service charge in the beginning.

On arrival the bouncers were so RUDE and UNORGANISED! They would take ID’s and not remember whose ID they’ve taken yet continually ask if they took your ID. The bouncers were continually disrespectful thoughtout the whole night. Just unnecessary attitude and shouting in your face.

I provided this place with names of all attendees for guestlist only to have some of my friends denied entry. They said I’d reach maximum amount of people on my guestlist. What was the point of providing names for guestlist if the people on them was repeatedly refused entry. I even told them to check the names as proof, this must mean they was allowing people who was not on my queslist in but was lying by quoting they was.

On the website it states that it is Ā£5 for entry before 11 but was told very last minute into the night that it was Ā£10 for everyone on guestlist all night. If I knew this I wouldn’t have bother making a gueslist or do a package deal. Another part of the package deal was to allow 6 people in for free, I reserved one more free ticket for a friend and provided them with his name only to find out he had to pay to get in.

On arriving to my table they was still fixing the speakers by us. Honestly the worst sound system in a club ever!

At the very beginning of the night I spoke to the manager to voice my annoyance about how rude her staffs were to my guest and I, only for her to really have a ā€˜I don’t care’ kind of attitude and she was just sticking up for her staff, not seeing where they went wrong. Just not a very professional approach coming from the manager.

Being a Saturday night, they was lacking stock, majority of alcohol ran out. When my friends brought drinks there was barely any alcohol. For example when ordering a vodka lemonade you could only just taste the lemonade, when this was voiced to people behind the bar, they was so rude about it.

Overall, this place is not worth the money or experience. It was an unpleasant experience throughout the whole night with the staffs and nothing ran smoothly.

The only high ratings is most likely for the restaurant upstairs, but if you are looking for a clubbing night out, I honestly would not recommend this...

We came here for the bingo for a friends birthday. While most of the staff are very nice, the manager is extremely aggressive. His whole demeanour is unfriendly, my friend and I were talking at our table and the manager wanted our attention - he literally shouted at us 'IM TALKING TO YOU' while we were mid conversation !? He needs a serious lesson in customer service and really put a damper on our night. Furthermore, I was over-charged for a round. I ordered three shots and was charged for doubles, even though they came in shot glasses. I didn't notice at the time as I just swiped my card - so once I noticed when I got home I notified the bar through their social media accounts. Whilst I didn't expect a refund, an apology would have been nice considering I ended up paying about £15 more than I was supposed to on a round. The person on their social media told me they'd 'speak to management' and then went awol and totally ignored any further messages I sent. Pretty appalling customer service to be honest. The host of the bingo was great, and made the night to be honest - because everything else was pretty bad. Would not recommend - avoid if you want a fun night.

EDIT: Just noticed that they responded that we failed to follow guidelines- I will again repeat that the manager was aggressive when we ENTERED the building - we had hardly been there 5 seconds. I mentioned it to another member of staff joking 'whats his problem' and they also confirmed that he was always like this. Also, re: the guidelines. We had booked a table (months in advance) before the government had introduced the guidelines. They absolutley refused to give us a refund on our booking, or any kind of compensation (given the night was then completely different to what we had paid for). Government guidelines at this point were 6 on a table. They made us sit 4 on a table, on tables that were separate from each other and told us we could not mingle with the other members of our group. Whilst I appreciate the issue's we're all facing at the moment, this was not the night we booked in for, and your approach to separating us was aggressive and unnecessary. You could have (per government guidelines) let us sit 6 on a table. Overcharging customers when they're drunk because they're breaking guidelines is illegal, so if that's your only excuse it's pretty poor. I've just browsed through some other reviews and most of them say how rude and aggressive the manager is, very odd of a venue to know this and completely ignore it. Again, I repeat, don't come here on a night out...

Cocktail making: riotous chaos and a rude, sexist, incompetent instructor

We paid £35 each for a mid-afternoon recreation of predrinks at a low-tier circus. There was nowhere near enough seating, far too few glasses, the ice ran out halfway through and we only managed to make two cocktails (of a promised two + two shot cocktails + welcome drink). By the end people were inventing their own cocktails and mixing them in candy floss tubs whilst one of the staff members mouthed off at us and flirted with anything blonde and bipedal.

One of the instructors was perfectly competent and doing all she could to keep the ship afloat, but her best efforts were no match for the relentless, malevolent incompetence of her companion. He incorrectly explained the first cocktail to our table, made a rampant hash of it, spilt half of it on our bags and checked all the way out from then on. We're racking our brains for even a single thing he managed to do correctly. He spent the rest of the afternoon aggressively flirting with a group near us whilst his colleague single-handedly managed the other twenty customers. He quite literally took the glasses we were about to pour drinks into to give to his unfortunate targets as it became clear there weren't enough.

To keep this from running to three or four weighty volumes of negativity, here's a summary of some of our favourite chap's other hits: Poured a pink drink, carefully noted that "I'm straight by the way" Left three glasses on the floor where they couldn't be seen. Loudly cheered when someone tripped on them and they broke. Responded moodily when someone noted that there was still a lot of broken glass around His colleague told him to make us cosmopolitans. He moodily threw together the wrong ingredients, and when someone pointed out his error he loudly proclaimed "I wish I could tell them to ** off" After he took our glasses to give to his current objects of interest, one of us asked him for another glass. This was not welcome. We were curtly directed to his colleague (who by this time was completely overwhelmed trying to clean up all that he left in his cataclysmic wake). We washed our previous glasses in the toilets.

It was certainly entertaining, but I don't think we would have paid £140 to...
