Read moreAs the kids have moved south of the river we had to find a new Sunday visit Sunday lunch venue. My daughter picked The Falcon as a post-lock down stab in the dark, backed up with good photos and good reviews. The social distancing organisation looked reassuringly good and as we were early on the scene we got to try out three tables before we found one with shade and a slight breeze (32°). There were 2 girls behind us with friends already in the pub, these girls had only just arrived, and he would not let them in either.
No reason was given, clearly it was not a guy/girl ratio issue, nor was it a drinking issue, he seemed to arbitrarily deciding whom he would let in?
We still went onto have a good night in Clapham but did not expect this whatsoever, and we were even more shocked to see the girls behind us not being allowed in either. Quite disgraceful, I'm quite sure discrimination based on age/gender is...
