One year later 2018 The bar has been updated but still remains it's character. I'm pleased to say with the update the heating has been switched on and is very comfortable now. The Sunday Lunch cost €17.95 & is still delicous Recommended 2017 A nice big traditional old style pub with original wooden flooring & the smell of a pub too. ( in a good way unlike pub chains all sanitised with no character) Just how a pub should be. A nice selection of food is available which you order & pay for at the bar. I always have the Sunday lunch which is a nice sized plate of food. It is advisable to reserve your table on a Sunday. My only cristism is inside the bar it's far too cold on a winter afternoon. They need to turn the heating on to make the place comfortable then I would stay longer. Other than that I would recommend this place for a Sunday lunch.

Hired a section of the garden for my wife's 40th birthday. The communication and organising from top down at the Falcon is excellent; prior to the day I sent through several inquiries, all of which were responded to promptly; they allowed us to set up our own decor for our reserved area; food was ordered for a specific time, and was brought out on time, and by all accounts was great; and the team were super helpful with ad hoc requests on the day. They also have a DJ set up around 8-9, playing some absolute bangers from 80's/90's all the way through to current. Shout out to Matt, Steffen and the team for an all round great day!

A super roomy pub, not far from Clapham North underground station. The Falcon just about has it all. A fine selection of keg beers and other concoctions on offer along with some cask ales, only Proper Job available during my visit but also Tribute and Landlord waiting to take the stage. Plenty of solid options for the hungry with both brunch and lunch menus available. There is outside seating at the front of the pub and a huge patio garden with an outside bar at the rear. A great fun pub currently enjoying an exciting Ozzy Rules match, much ribaldry!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Delight, and it was a truly delightful experience! Tucked away in a cozy corner of [location or neighborhood], this charming café offers a perfect blend of great coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The café has a relaxed vibe with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful décor that makes it feel like a perfect spot to unwind. The staff greeted me with a smile, and their friendly service made me feel right at home. The menu at Cafe Delight is fantastic, with a wide selection of coffees, teas, and fresh pastries. I tried their [mention any specific dish or drink you enjoyed, e.g., cappuccino and freshly baked croissant], and I was thoroughly impressed. The coffee was rich and full of flavor, and the croissant was warm, flaky, and simply delicious. They also offer a variety of [mention any other specialties, e.g., healthy lunch options, cakes, or smoothies], which I look forward to trying on my next visit. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere—it’s the perfect place for catching up with friends, working on your laptop, or simply enjoying some alone time with a book. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area, ideal for a sunny day.Overall, my visit to Cafe Delight was wonderful, and I can’t wait to return. Whether you're a coffee lover or simply looking for a cozy place to relax, this café is a true gem. Highly...

As the kids have moved south of the river we had to find a new Sunday visit Sunday lunch venue. My daughter picked The Falcon as a post-lock down stab in the dark, backed up with good photos and good reviews. The social distancing organisation looked reassuringly good and as we were early on the scene we got to try out three tables before we found one with shade and a slight breeze (32°). Our host, Laurence, took our musical chairs escapade with good grace and we settled down to eat. One beef roast for me, super green salad for my wife, something veggie for my daughter and her fiancee had the chicken. The conversation dipped to the occasional "ummm", interspersed with excellent service from Laurence who was clearly missing the the standard number of covers. The food was really good in all four cases, but defeated me. To my everlasting shame I couldn't fit in TWO really good roast potatoes; that heat was an appetite killer, but also... maybe just half a cow on the plate next time? A solid 10/10, great food and staff who clearly love their jobs and have hospitality down to a tee. In the immortal words of Arnie......

A group of 4 of us were out celebrating a birthday, literally the first place we went to once we got to Clapham as we were going to start the night there. There was a queue and the bouncer said one in one out, which is fine, but after a while having given no reason whatsoever (bearing in mind we were not drunk or behaving stupidly), he said 'not tonight lads', to which we thought he was joking as it did not make any sense. We hung around but turns out he was being serious, we asked him why, if it was a too many guys issue but he just kept repeating not tonight.

There were 2 girls behind us with friends already in the pub, these girls had only just arrived, and he would not let them in either.

No reason was given, clearly it was not a guy/girl ratio issue, nor was it a drinking issue, he seemed to arbitrarily deciding whom he would let in?

We still went onto have a good night in Clapham but did not expect this whatsoever, and we were even more shocked to see the girls behind us not being allowed in either. Quite disgraceful, I'm quite sure discrimination based on age/gender is...
