Wow, what a change; the Embassy has been "gentrified". My last review in 2017 said: "Solid non-pretentious greasy spoon workman's cafe". Now, as well as the traditional English fried breakfast, you can get freshly squeezed OJ, fresh pastries and cakes and pan-fried sea-bream. My plan was to get a bacon & egg roll "to go", but after seeing what's on offer ended up adding a "pastel de nata", fresh OJ and one of the best expressos I've tasted outside of Portugal, so eat in it was. The staff are friendly and approachable and will go that extra mile to give you what you want. Looking forward to my next visit; perhaps the sea-bream?

This cafe is really nice and the people are amazing, walked in and waited for few minutes as there was other customers being served and was served with English breakfast and a cup of coffee, they even had to change my served food after realizing that I only eat halal food. Inside was a baby who couldn’t help but keep looking at me while smiling, probably wondering where I was coming from 🥹 I would recommend this cafe if you find yourself in the neighborhood or planning to visit! Keep up the great services!!

This place is a quaint old style English cafe. The little red cafe I call it (as it is painted red on the outside) is situated on the corner of a fairly quite area, not far from Latimer Road Station. You can eat in or take away, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can get a mean cup of tea (mean meaning fabulous). It has a nice friendly atmosphere with nice friendly staff and a cozy, homely feel. Go check it out.

This is a nice cafe with a local feel, food is good and selection is really great. This place is always busy, and tends to be understaffed (probably through no fault of their own) so expect to wait 10 mins to be served, and a further 20 to receive your food. It would be better if the cafe enforced that all customers pay upon ordering because people constantly push to the front of the very long queue to pay for their food, ahead of those who have been waiting to order for a long time. The toast is really good quality, but unusual that it is not included with breakfasts, you need to pay extra. All in all, you’ll pay about £13-£14 for a full English with...
