Honestly as an Indian, I was quite impressed. Don't get me wrong, the presentation leaves something to be desired. But the flavors? The staff friendliness? The space? It's fantastic.

Getting the cons out of the way, I was served my Chana Dal in a plastic box used for deliveries normally. Hardly an issue, but I feel there are far better ways to serve this (even an average metal dish would be better).

That's all the cons there are though. I was served my naan on a proper plate, with a spoon to serve myself my curry. The flavors took me back home. It was fantastic, and I'm gonna be going back there again.

The person serving me (unsure if he was the chef or not) was also very polite and helpful, and it was a pleasure to eat there.

I've eaten at most places in the area I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I've seen the kitchen in the late evenings. Immaculate with fresh ingredients. Their Biryani's are as close as I've gotten in all of London to how my parents make it. I had the jerk chicken wrap the other day and I was amazed by all the rich flavours. I knew the owner at a different establishment where he worked as a chef not far from this one. I'm heartened to find his ambition has been realised. I live in Croydon for work, live in hotels, so rely solely on restaurants for food. And there are little in the way of options when you look for home style, healthy foods, and fresh ingredients.

I bought a Butter Chicken and rice meal and a Veg hot box via Deliveroo today and let me tell you something, I would NEVER order from this place again. I got sent a box of grease for the Butter Chicken, with only 4 pieces of chicken in it. It was an extremely poor standard of food - thank God I got a refund from Deliveroo. My wife and her family are Indians and could not believe the standard of food is received and what was meant to be butter chicken was nothing of the sort. I honestly feel cheated! Save yourselves the hassle and don’t order from this place..you will be massively...
