Thanks to the staff who decidedly came to work to give bad service, removed their name tag, get milkshake orders wrong and then accuse you for making the wrong orders and stating in he own words “it’s impossible for us to get it wrong”. The sheer confidence and implications that customers are the only ones who get it wrong. Five guys you lost credibility for this branch. If not then please feel free to locate the individual who answered your Richmond Branch’s phone on 21st August 2023 at 10:44pm and again at 11:16pm who aggressively stated “I don’t care about your order, it’s impossible for us to make a mistake, I am not giving you my name” and proceeded to hang up. First time in a 5 guys and a disappointing experience. If your rivaling GBK or Byrons with regard to price.....so for a burger, fries and a shake expect to be paying 15 to 18 pounds per head......it needs to be specially tasty and a nice decor. This is neither. I would say the burger is most similar to burger king but twice the price. The fries are nice but at nearly a fiver for a large portion they need to be. Similarly the shakes are great but that isn't difficult to do when charging five and a half quid. The hot dogs have a very distinctive taste which won't be to everyone's liking so beware if ordering. The kids though will love the drinks machine. Overall not an extensive menu choice. As for the decor. It has the feel of a cheap high street takeaway. Although the staff are very friendly and obliging the place itself doesn't feel it. All adults too....not a place littleuns are attached to maybe. Disabled access though but small inside. Food was exuberant and as always tasted amazing. The umami from the cheese and fresh meat. Was a bit stuffy but better than the freezing cold. Plenty of seating and a comfortable bench is always available. The food is quite high priced. In my opinion however I believe it is really worth it. The bread is also scrumptious. This is obviously quite high in calories but a brisk walk before or after should burn it off. Five guys is completely underrated and one of the greatest fast food restaurants I have eaten at. I’m stuffed now and didn’t even eat too much. A burger and small fries should be enough for 1 adult and 2 little burgers and a small fries should be enough for 2 children.
