I recently had the pleasure of visiting Flat Iron, a fantastic venue where I watched the Euros and enjoyed some incredible street food. This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots in London!
Flat Iron offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere that's perfect for watching sports events. The excitement of the Euros was palpable, and the large screens provided a great view from any spot in the venue.
What truly sets Flat Iron apart is the exceptional street food. The variety is impressive, but the standout for me was the Greek stand. I had the lamb gyros, and let me tell you, it was the best I've ever had in London. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, wrapped in a warm, fluffy pita with fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce that tied everything together beautifully.
The service at Flat Iron deserves a special mention. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They ensured that everyone was comfortable and had what they needed, even during the busy game times. Their friendly and efficient service added to the overall positive experience.
Flat Iron is a must-visit venue for anyone looking to enjoy great street food and watch sports in a lively, welcoming environment. The outstanding service and amazing lamb gyros from the Greek stand make it a standout spot in London. I can't...

Rudest security staff I've ever dealt with! First of all the security guy literally dipped his hands in my friend's hand-bag without any previous notice. She's visiting from abroad and appears she just bought a small bag of nut kernels from Borough Market to take back home. We told him we're not eating it and his answer was "how would I know?!".
His lady colleague then took over and she opened my bag pack which had a small sealed bottle of mustard paste (also from Borough Market) and said she has to take this stuff away.We were appalled by the attitude and to try make things easier we suggested they keep the stuff aside so we could get them back later after the game but they refused. We then decided to leave in despair and disappointment after queuing for more than 30 minutes..
I've been living in London for 7 years and haven't been fetched that way ever before. It's totally unacceptable and I will never visit this place again. Respect comes above anything else even if you're one of the so called best outdoor screen venues...
Read moreA very disappointing experience. The place is busy and has a good atmosphere, so I would recommend booking, however overall I was not impressed. The “tap room” consisted of a long line of mainstream lagers with a handful of alternative beers from the more established London breweries, there was nothing independent or interesting on offer at all. Additionally, the vast majority of the beers were not even available, every tap bar 3 or 4 was out. At over £7 a pint it was expensive even for the area.
The food was an absolute rip off. The quality was fine but it was typical street food at restaurant level prices (over £14 for a burger without fries) for very small portions and the wait times were pretty long. There were also hardly any vegan options.
The online ordering for both drinks and food wasn’t working either.
Overall not a great experience, I would suggest going to Vinegar Yard if you want a similar experience, it is quieter so booking isn’t necessary and the food options are both better and far more...
