Incredible starters. Super clean, excellent balance of flavours and perfect seasoning. Flawless presentation. Appropriate waiting time between courses (the italian way). The Best italian restaurant I’ve tried on the very west side of london, the over-used term of “hidden gem” perfectly fits with “Giulia”, as it is placed in acton where a lot of the restaurants are not so great. I assume it’s family run as the only staff was a lady named Giulia, of course. The ingredients are super fresh, garnishes and temperatures of all proteins are given special attention, perfect medium rare steak and juicy branzino. The atmosphere is pleasant, relaxing green colors, very professional waiting service, somewhere i would feel very comfortable taking my mum for a meal for example, or even for a date. I saw Wine being served professionally, with tasting offered and bottle shown to you side table. Small menu’ that changes periodically, the octopus with cauliflower and nduja is just perfect, could’ve had another 2 plates easily. Oddly enough the pasta was the only dish (out of the 10 i ordered) that I wouldn’t order again, it was good just not special. Even having been there once, The feeling you get is of a restaurant ran with pride and most of all consistency in what they bring to your table. It’s italian food that can be enjoyed by anyone, even if you are not crazy about italian flavours. I was even granted my inappropriate request to charge my phone :). TLDR; excellent, delicious, clean food served with a real smile, you...

Giulia's, nestled in Shepherd’s Bush, proves that the most extraordinary culinary experiences often stem from the simplest of ingredients. From the moment we were greeted with warm focaccia, alongside our perfectly balanced Aperol and Hugo spritzes, we knew we were in for a treat.
The cacio e pepe ravioli, a Roman classic, was nothing short of divine. The delicate pasta pillows, enrobed in a velvety sauce of butter & sage, delivered an explosion of flavour with every bite. This was not just cacio e pepe; this was cacio e pepe elevated to an art form, the best we've ever encountered!
While the menu boasts an array of tempting options, we were fortunate enough to be offered a taste of their homemade tiramisu, a dish not listed but whispered about among regulars. The ethereal layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream were a testament to the chef's dedication to quality and authenticity.
Giulia's is not just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Italian cuisine, a place where unpretentious dishes are crafted with care and passion. The friendly service and inviting atmosphere further enhance the experience, making it clear why patrons return time and again.
We, for one, cannot wait to return to this charming trattoria. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply seeking a taste of Italy, Giulia's is an...
Read moreWhat an amazing find. I almost didn’t want to leave a review so I could keep it to myself but that would be too selfish. This is serious, authentic and original Italian food cooked really, really well in a friendly local setting run by a young couple whose dedication and passion shines through. My photos are inadequate and the bigoli all’ antra didn’t last long enough for photos anyway. The eponymous Guilia is front of house and her husband is the master chef in the kitchen. He already has an impressive CV in top hotel and Michelin star restaurants behind him and she happily answered all my many questions with charm and knowledge. We had the bigoli to start, then shoulder of lamb and sea bass for main with two sides, followed by chocolate fondant cake and tiramisu. It’s the kind of food you’re still thinking and dreaming about the next day. Perfectly cooked of course. The Bigoli with white duck ragu was simply fantastic. My fish was done just right with a really crispy skin. My husband loved his dishes as well and to be honest he usually only raves about Asian food. The generous portions also helped to win us over as well as the reasonable prices. The food is equally as good as the top, famous West End Italian restaurants. The menu is seasonal so I will be going back very soon. I can’t wait to try the octopus, more pasta dishes and the...
