Detour Café — Restaurant in London

I ordered catering from Detour cafe for a birthday party at a venue nearby. Was disappointed that the cafe did not inform us that paper plates/ cups/ cutleries not included. we had to waste time to rush and get it at tesco as there were one last event to do after the break. We lost time because of it. The sandwiches was meant for kids but it was not cut small and no one ate it. Even the chicken pieces inside was huge. The water and juices provided was also in a huge jar instead of smaller pouches. Honestly I dont think they do catering well; and they dont care about their customers! totally disappointed! New Zealand themed coffee shop with decent sandwiches, muffins, brownies, cookies, and of course coffee. This is a very popular Café on Askew Road, it's the best coffee shop on the road in my opinion. The beans are sourced from electric coffee which you can also buy. The menu features breakfast staples such as full English, pancakes, omelettes, poached eggs plus some kiwi dishes like minced beef on toast, corn fritters. Delicious yummy food on the up and coming Askew Road. My veggie breakfast of poached egg (you could ask to have it scrambled or fried instead), humous, veggie sausage, avocado, hash browns, mushrooms and toast were all top draw. I was served very quickly after ordering. It was £8.50. Latte coffee (£2.60) and a smoothie (£4.00) were all good too.
