I tried to call Sunday 8 June 25. at 2.30 pm 3 times.
I was told by a guy with an Indian accent “we are not GBK anymore”. I put phone down. Searched on the internet but this is your number the web is given me. The guy said to me after the second time “please do not call again …” His English was (sorry) not too good. I searched again for GBK Chiswick but always this number comes up.
Checked again on the web because I am not letting anyone telling me ''please do not call again!'' (your staff)
Thank god: This time a Lady called Yasmin explained to me “we are only a char-kitchen… Not open yet (2.30pm)'. ''We could come around 3pm only''. Very confused. We have been like 4 weeks ago at lunch time (!) in Person in your Restaurant in Chiswick.
So: the gentleman who answeres the phone twice, sorry to say, we could hardly understand him. I asked him “is this Gourmet Burger Kitchen …”? He said something to the extent “we are not BURGER anymore, we are something different …”
Please don’t use him again answering the phone. His English is a mess.
Update: received email from GBK after my complaint:

I have experiences ranging from "absolutely amazing" to "what the hell is this and where is half of my order". And trust me experience I do have, I've been ordering from the GBK generally for like 2 years now and from this specific branch for around a year so I ate dozens of these burgers because I used to be completely obsessed.
The bean Patty is one of the better ones I tried, it's super delicious and quite heavy. All the toppings work together very well and make a good veggie/vegan burger.
However you never know what you will get (when ordering online). The Beond Patty tends to be burned which destroys the taste. You never know if you will get the Guacamole or not (which is a make or break for this burger) and if you pay for extras the chances you get them are similar to when you throw a coin.
Also, it is definitely higher priced but for the Californian Burger I would say it...
Read moreUPDATE: Unfortunately even though the velow is true to a large extent, during our attempt to try out the BRUNCH menu 2 weeks ago, on a Saturday morning, as we sat down at 11 am (brunch served until 1pm, I think) we were given the regular lunch dinner menu. The staff members did not explain why or whether there is an issue with the breakfast. When I asked if we could have the brunch menu, they replied they do not have any Jashbrowns, which apparently are used in every breakfast dish.
This was the first time we left this place disappointed. Hopefully we will be able to try the brunch menu in the future.

Great Burger Place! Special monthly burgers are usually a good choice. The onion rings are probably the best ones I have tried and there is a variety of fries to choose from.
