Greggs — Restaurant in London

As a tourist I stopped in to see what all the fuss was online about the food here, a lot of folks recommended getting food/snacks here. They had a lot of the British snack fast foods. This particular location was small with limited seating. I got some sausage rolls and a few steak bakes. I also ordered coffees. Unfortunately the person taking the order did not ask what type of coffee I wanted and made a cafe latte, not sure if that is now the ‘typical’ coffee in the UK, I usually get a standard black coffee if I just ask for a coffee. Also the food was all warm, not hot at all and this was at lunchtime which I found surprising. Anyway my impression of this location was not good. Simple ordering and the temperature of the food are the most basic requirements of an establishment like this and this makes me feel this is not managed well. The positive is despite the food being cold it did taste good. I would not come back to this particular Greggs. I may try another location, funnily enough there is another larger one just down the high street about a third of a mile which I saw...

I wish I could give lower than 1 star. I went there few weeks ago and wanted some hash browns. I went around 11:15am, and asked the guy who was serving if I could get some hash browns and he was keep asking if I was joking very rudely. I was confused tbh and after asking me the same thing 4-5 times, he said hash browns is the breakfast item(like sherlock I didn't know that) I thought their breakfast timings were till 11:30-12pm like some other places. But the thing is he could have said the same thing when I asked him for hash browns instead of doing this whole thing. Completely ruined the mood. I know wisdom and politeness is chasing him since day one and he is still trying to run away faster. I hope he learns how to behave with the customers and gets some serious training about...

Normally greggs never fail me with the choice of sandwich and the efficient crew to minimise waiting but the latest visit saw that there are only 6 or 7 sandwich left and both crew we talking and entertaining I lady customer and left a long queue of guest wanting to make payment. Surprisingly after 10 min they actually can or was running 2 checkout counter. It means they are ignoring the other customer while entertaing talking to the customer in front of ME. On purpose.(To avoid confusion this is gregg in Hunslow never happens to me...
