Absolutely Disappointed – 0/10
Visited Namaste Hounslow recently and honestly, I wouldn’t even give it a 1-star rating if I didn’t have to. The service was incredibly poor from the moment we walked in slow, disorganised, and completely lacking in basic attentiveness. They kept bringing the wrong drinks, didn’t apologise, and clearly had no interest in getting it right.
The starters were an absolute disgrace. The meat was clearly old, dry, and reheated. It had that rubbery texture that comes from being microwaved one too many times. It tasted stale and lifeless, with zero freshness or care put into it.
As for the mains utterly inedible. The curries were extremely watery, more like soup than a proper dish. The chicken was a bizarre pale colour, like it had been boiled and then dumped into a sauce last minute. It didn’t taste marinated or cooked with the curry at all. It was flavourless, mushy, and visually off putting. It honestly looked like someone added water to stretch out a batch of pre-made sauce and even then, there was barely any meat in the dish, just chunks of limp chicken floating in a pool of bland, sugary liquid.
The food lacked any authenticity or depth overly sweet, unbalanced, and just plain bad. Nothing felt fresh, nothing tasted right. It was like eating a rushed, mass-produced mess with zero effort or pride behind it.
Save your time, money, and tastebuds. Zero quality, zero care,...
Read morePlace looks good from outside. Went for dinner with my family.. on friday 7th Feb 2025. There were total of 2 Girls and 1 Boy serving. The boy was yawning while taking order. As it was almost 10pm, requested Plain Popoddums chicken tikka (Mild) and Plain Egg rice (No Spice at all) for my son who was hungry and sleepy..! Got it almost after 20min and repeated request. The Plain Egg rice received was with chilli flakes ..!(Picks attached) They replaced it but was too late and my son had to eat Popoddum and on plain dry naan before he fell asleep..! Also ordered Mild Gobi Manchurian but received extremely spicy dish..! Also ordered saag Paneer and received a dish with cheese mixed in it..! Saag Paneer with Grated cheese..? Not sure where is this from..? (Strings seen in Pic attached)..! Servers also confirmed that grated cheese was added by Cheif..! Extremely disappointed and angry as my son and family could not have even half of what was ordered - first due to extreme delay.., second extremely spicy.. and strange food preparation..! Hope they keep a manager at all times to keep an eye on the fresh fully awake staff and specially on the Cheif who has obsession of making dishes with extreme spice/chilli/chilli flakes and cheese in Saag...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant for dinner as a group of seven, hoping to enjoy a relaxing evening. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be quite frustrating because of the attitude and behavior of one of the waitresses, Pranusha.
From the very beginning, her approach was rude and dismissive. When we asked for a table for seven, she made us feel as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. While ordering, she didn’t give us any proper time to choose what we actually wanted. Instead, she kept rushing us and pushing for the restaurant’s expensive specials, which felt very forceful and uncomfortable.
What made the experience even worse was her comment toward the end — she mentioned that the table we were sitting at “makes £600” and implied that it’s “more than 10% of your bill.” This kind of statement is completely unprofessional and unnecessary, especially when customers are simply there to enjoy their meal.
The whole interaction left a bad impression and spoiled what should have been a nice evening with friends. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures staff are trained to treat customers with respect and courtesy. Good service and a polite attitude make all the difference in dining...
