My experience at Kingsmead Chicken and Chips shop has been nothing but fantastic!. From the moment I stepped into the shop, ordered my meal & to the last bite of my meal, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. Upon entering the shop, I was struck by the aroma and smell from the shop as well as its warm atmosphere. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles creating a positive first impression. The attention to detail in telling them my order and the staff not making any mistake (especially when I order a family bucket meal) made my experience even more enjoyable. I want to specially thank QAYAM, KASH and YASEEN for their great & exceeding level of service, I must commend it is superb!!. When I call to make my order over the phone, they make sure my order is ready before I get there (in 2 mins). Once, when the shop was very busy and I was there, I watched the staff work together in a professional & quiet manner to make sure I and other customers got our food on time and not wait for too long; IT IS MORE THAN IMPRESSING. Their food is crunchy, flavourful and exceptionally tasty! Giving the exceptional service from especially QAYAM, KASH, and YASEEN, they deserve a raise for their outstanding efforts. I wholeheartedly recommend Kingsmead Chicken and Chips shop to anyone seeking a fast & quick meal for lunch or dinner. HAVE A GO AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT...

Came across this place and saw a few people go in so I thought I'd give it a try for lunch.

They DONT accept card cash only. Paid £6 for 3 piece meal wings and chips i went in at 11am when everything should be made fresh the chicken pieces were decent cant fault but the chips was skinny fries and small portion not good enough for the price they are charging.

The wings where not the crispy ones u normally get these days so don't expect that kfc crunch you will be disappointed.

I also purchased tried there samosa 0.80p and pakora (£1 for 4) the man said they were made today they were hot but very soft so I think that was a lie probably made day before.

I tried it a few times, never again. Many times I asked them to put extra sauce on the pizza, they always say okay but never do. There is barely any sauce on it. If you aren’t going to put extra, tell me or charge me more, don’t just say okay and not do it. The pizza feels like just bread and cheese with toppings, barely any sauce! The rest of the food is not that bad but their prices are high compared to the quality. For the price they charge, I can buy food from KFC which is much nicer. A burger meal is around £6. I can buy a meal from McDonalds for that price. The price can be improved and should be in correlation to quality. Overall, I won’t be going again.
