I’m a big Greek food fan and LOVE souvlakiland. It’s a good value, family run joint where a lot of love and care goes into the food. Have visited four times now and each time it’s been really good. HIGHLY rate it - I love the souvlaki wraps, the Greek salad and the Tzatziki which is surprisingly absolutely amazing (ordered it on a whim and now stock up for my fridge) Don’t let the interior put you off, we always eat in for the vibes :-) Long live Souvlakiland!!!

Dont' let the basic decor put you off... I've been here twice now. Once in the evening for a post pub Gyros binge, once for lunch. Loved it both times. Two main things of note are that its exceptional value for really good food and that the chips posses some kind of magic. Will go again for lunch next week :-)

Very unhappy with the service I have received and the food. I ordered skewers and they never arrived with the rest of the order. I then called the shop and the person that answered was rude, worse they did not speak English so rather than try to help me he told he was busy and hung up. The food was cold as well..

Finally - a decent ‘gyropita’ in London. This small family run restaurant serves a selection of typical Greek ‘fast food’ as good as you would find in Greece. They had both pork and (slightly lighter) chicken ‘gyros’ (meat smothered in tzatziki, with salad and chips wrapped in/served with a pita bread) as well as meat cooked on the grill and salads. Lovely little family run Greek hole in the wall in Homerton. Very reasonably priced chicken gyros for £5.50 - and a very generous portion size! Chicken was tender and tasty, and requested a bit of chilli sauce which set it off perfectly! Really great little spot. Only suggestion is that they start accepting cards - I don’t carry cash that often and it would make me eat here even more often! Recommend to everyone I know...
