We were looking for somewhere to eat that was 'Child friendly' and remembered the Hard Rock Cafe - lots of staff who greeted us on arrival, checked if we had reserved or was a member (both of which we had not / was not) and then sent us down towards the restaurant. Plenty of space when we got down to restaurant area, and seating very much Set up in booth style with walls decorated with various memorabilia. Greeted again we was shown to some seats and kids given kids menus with some crayons. Kids menus had some little activities, and my son loves Messi so he was pleased as the menu features him all over it (and before I forget, with each kids meal at present they get a little Messi golden ball - collect with your food receipt from the shop on main floor). Unsurprisingly, one went for the chicken and chips, and the other surprisingly went for Mac n Cheese. Good reports from both on the food front so that's a win! It was lunch so we didn't have starters, and I went for the Buffalo Blue Burger - which was really nice! I also took the opportunity to try one of the IPA's, and the wife had a non alcoholic cocktail. We did however look quite enviously at some of the cocktails and drinks going to other tables - perhaps in the future when we don't have to drive we can visit again and try a few...! Seems an odd thing to mention, but I was also impressed with the foot open things on the toilet doors (to stop you having to touch the door handles) - have not come across these before. Service was great, food was great, the place was tidy and when you go up to the shop there are a couple of places for photo opportunities to remember your visit. Would have loved to buy some merchandise for kids (of which looked good - not tacky or anything like some places) but it was a bit pricey after just having the meal! Highly recommend a visit, and wonderful for kids.

We were four, when we got there we asked for one beer, one aperol, a pineapple lemonade, and a soda. Also, we asked for three appetizers, But the waiter, since the beginning, we felt like we were being rushed by the waiter asking us to order for the main food. We had not received the first drinks and appetizers yet, when he came back to the table to ask if we were ready to get the main food, we said not yet, some of us were still checking the menu, and he said since we were not ready to order he will take the menus from us. So he took them. Minutes later, he came to bring the drinks, few minutes later he brought the appetizer, but by that time we were almost done with the drinks, so we asked for another beer and aperol he brought them, but every time he walked by our table he kept asking if we will order the main food, when we barely got the appetizers and we tried to enjoy it as the same with our drinks. Finally, after the rush by this waiter my sons decided just to order the main food, and my husband asked for another beer, the number 3, by that time he only got two and also loaded tots appetizer. The waiter said "No", the only way he will get the other beer is if he asked for the main food first, no matter my husband already finished the appetizer, he refused to serve one more beer and he only had two drinks and ate the food. We traveled around the world and this is the first time we have had this type of experience and in a Hard Rock Cafe. Since the beginning we got to the restaurant we felt very rushed by the waiter, we ordered without the menus because he took it away from us when we were still checking the food. This situation shows a waiter when he just wanted to get rid of customers after they get the main food orded to add the service charges to our bill. Then try to take them out from the table to get the next ones and repeat the story. In conclusion very unsatisfied experience after we planned to go back and eat there from the day before. Note* Not all waiters or waitresses are the same, we were there two days ago in the morning and evening (the same quantity of drinks [evening time] with no issues) the service and experience was fantastic with a different waiter and waitress since we were there for lunch and dinner. They were very friendly and professional. That is why we planned to go back because of the previous visit Hard Rock Cafe. Message for DYLAN, We don't that to have 3 beers we have to get main food. Have been to dozens of HRC's around the world over the past 20+ years. Was in London & saw there was a new location @ Piccadilly so we thought we'd try it. Facilities wise, the place was nice enough, but without the vibe of the original London location. Music was very loud (someone must have complained because they turned it down about 10 min before we left) & seemed to be on a hard rock playlist - multiple songs by Metallica, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Disturbed & others with a Bruno Mars & a country cover of ZZ-Top sandwiched in between (all bands I like, but not while trying to talk w my wife @ dinner). Service was slow despite not being crowded but they were friendly. Ordered the new "Messi" sandwiches (chicken & burger). When the food finally came out it was extremely disappointing. Sandwich & burger looked like a full sized or bigger sandwich than their regular burgers, but what we got was basically a "slider" - around half the size of their normal burger. My burger also looked nothing like the picture which had thick cut chorizo piled high w the veg, plump patties & cheese. What I got had 3 thin sliced piece of what looked like pepperoni, cheese was all melted away & absorbed into the meat (just a white "smear") & hardly any veg. Burger had almost no flavor, other than the sauce which was on the side. The chicken sandwich was slightly better, but the chicken was very dry & also had almost no flavor - tasted like a typical frozen chicken patty you'd get from the store. Waiter never came back to check on us - had to borrow a bottle of ketchup from a neighboring table when I gave up waiting. When the waiter finally returned & asked how everything was I told him. He apologized saying it was a common complaint with those, size wise, but that was about it. I have a major "pet-peeve" about receiving food that doesn't match the description/picture, but it's a common issue, especially at fast food places, so I'm used to it but the photos @ Hard Rock are particularly misleading. The photos make it seem like you are getting a full sized burger purposely scaling it up in front of background perspective scenery. The sandwiches I received could each fit in the palm of my hand. Very dishonest. Maybe if it actually tasted better I would not have minded. All in all, one of our worst experiences at a HRC. Sad...

Hard Rock Cafe - Piccadilly Circus I can not fault anything with Hard Rock Cafe. I have visited on multiple occasions and the food has been exquisite on all visits. The food is always cooked to amazing standards that I would expect from Central London restaurants. On this occasion, I went for the nachos for starters. The portion size is defiantly more than enough for two people to share, they were excellent. For the main course I opted for the rack of ribs. They were cooked to perfections as per usual and served with a side of fries. Now onto dessert, the best part. At the time of writing this review, we were offered a free dessert when signing up for emails from Hard Rock Cafe, which we received. The free desserts was a small sundae, which was pleasant. We also ordered the chocolate brownie sundae, which in all honesty is enough for four people to share. It was enormous. The staff around the whole venue are very friendly and attentive, we decided to shop in the gift shop beforehand due to the fact that the table was a fourth five minute wait, which passed by very quickly. Our waitress was very kind and attentive and catered for all our needs. We decided to purchase a drink with a glass and when we left the restaurant section, the gift shop staff were really friendly and straight away showed us what glasses were available. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly Circus branch, definitely better than the Old Park Lane branch.

We went here for a friend's birthday meal. There were 6 of us in total and 3 arrived at the time of our reservation, the rest of us 15 minutes after. In those 15 minutes the others in our group were hounded 4 times to place their food order, even after repeatedly saying they were waiting for more people. When we all had arrived and placed our orders, we then couldn't get anyone's attention to order more drinks for a solid 10 minutes. It took one of us shouting across the restaurant 'Excuse me' to get someone to eventually come over. This would be somewhat understandable if the restaurant had been super busy, but it was only about half full. Now for the food. If you like your New York strip to be more gristle and sinew than meat, then you should definitely order it. It was cooked nicely, but sadly I could only eat about 1/3 of it. They then had the audacity to add a £32 service charge to our bill which I swiftly had them remove. And to add insult to injury, the words 'hard rock' seem to have changed in meaning from when this chain was first opened. A more fitting name would be, 'whatever we think is popular in music regardless of genre cafe". I would not go here again, even if someone else was paying.

Came here whilst in London mid-week with work so ate alone. This didn't matter here and I was seated quickly. Staff were great, really friendly but not overbearing. Letting me know of offers but not pushing to upsell. Sumeet was my server and he was fab, as was his recommendation for the apple cobbler for dessert, the serving was large and unfortunately after a meal and a large cocktail it was a bit much but I was provided with a box to take it away. I was hoping to finish it back at the hotel, annoyingly my hotel room didn't provide spoons only wooden stirrers (not useful in eating a cobbler!) I understand hard rocks effort for environmental sustainability but being offered cutlery with my take away, as I think they do take away/delievery and imagine it's an option with these, would be the only thing I'd change for my visit so I didn't have to waste so much of the delicious dessert! (Side note: I understand the lack of spoons in my room isn't the hard rocks responsibility and haven't 'knocked any stars off' for this but just a recommendation going forward as imagine many diners may be from out of town like myself so may come across this problem so could be helpful for others too! :))
