Harissa bistro — Restaurant in London

We have been ordering and supporting you guys since you opened. Even when we started our keto diet we constantly ordered the Harissa Signature which is delicious! When we would take breaks from our diet, we would order from you. Last time we ordered you had stopped putting the spreads in individual packaging like you used to. You started spreading them directly on pancakes and French toast. It makes the items soggy but again we didn’t complain as portion sizes and taste was still great.

Ordering again today to treat ourselves and Omg what a huge disappointment!

We paid £33 for a mini breakfast! That didn’t even fill us up! They used to give good portion sizes that matched the price points. However they have now have minimised everything but kept the price point the same?! THIS IS MISLEADING AND A COMPLETE SCAM!

The hot drinks we ordered (chai latte and caramel latte) over £3.00 each! Imagine our shock when they came in tiny cups! Could have got a large at Costa for that! That is insane! Spending £33 and having to have cereal on top of that lol. That is ridiculous. Before anyone thinks I’m a Karen for this, I always give great ratings on UberEats as I do believe it is a great place to eat. But honestly guys, this was very very disappointing to receive. Manage customer expectations and be fair. Either minimise your portion size and lower the price orrrr match the price point to the product. Disappointed.

If you read clearly I stated that your portion sizes have decreased by half hence me calling it a mini breakfast. The portion sizes are tiny for the prices whereas before, your portion sizes match the prices.

Again, I have ordered from you since you opened and had no reviews on Uber Eats. You used to put the spreads in the same packaging you put the maple syrup in.

I stand by my review and even more so now that I have seen your response. Please take note. New customers of yours may not know but I have literally ordered since you opened.

Went to brunch at Harissa with two of my friends for a Bank Holiday treat. I was the first to arrive out of my group. Upon arrival I wasn’t greeted by either of the 2 members of staff. I made my self known and asked for a seat. I wasn’t told that there would be a wait or that they were busy.

We EVENTUALLY had our order taken. The drinks took 30mins to arrive. My friend ordered a chai latte which was pretty much steamed oat milk with a dash of cinnamon. She complained but was met with a bit of resistance. She had a new one made but it wasn’t any better.

The food was very lacking. The steak in my wrap was very dry and chewy. The French Toast was soggy - so was sent back. I chose to not send my food back to save them any embarrassment as I could tell that other tables were getting irritated by the slow service. At the end of our meal (we didn’t finish any of it), I quietly went up to the till to tell the waitress that we weren’t happy with our meal and to see if there was anything that could be done to compensate. We found the manager to be quite dismissive and argumentative. She said that it was a Bank Holiday so we should expect the service to be slower. They also said that we should have sent all our food back rather than wait until the end to complain (we complained about some of the food whilst eating). After going back and forth for some time we had 10% taken off our final bill as well as the French Toast removed. It was quite embarrassing for us and them as we tried to complain discretely as we could see they were busy.

We would not recommend this place to anyone. It is clearly over hyped and their customer service, food quality and service left a lot to be desired. Go at...

I cant believe the great reviews on here. This place is so very over hyped for sure. I've been looking forwards to coming here for a long time. I finally came with a group of friends and I really wish we hadn't. We went around 10ish in the morning. It wasn't busy but the waitress couldn't even handle the few customers there already. The service was unbelievably slow. She made us order our drinks before ordering as we weren't ready to order. And the lattes were literally just warm. Had to gulp it down before it got undrinkable. It was not easy to get her attention to order and she kept doing things in between whilst telling us she is coming. What kind of ridiculous service is that? The people sitting next to our table had to actually get up and try to order at the till and they had little ones with them.

I ordered a french toast and compared to the rest of the meals my friends had mine was tiny more like a side! And on top of that almost the same price as the main breakfasts! It makes no sense. The food was nothing special. My friends weren't impressed especially since it was quite expensive. The waffle was dry said another friend. So the price does not match the quality of the food either.

Not coming back here. There are plenty of other much nicer places than this worth putting...
