It's a nice spot for a family gastropub lunch. Good pints. The food and drinks are pricey and the crowd is very "yummy mummy" and "lad-ish". Loads of kids on the weekend. It doesn't feel warm or cool atmospherically... but it's OK. I don't feel so great about paying over a 5'er for a pint in zone Enfeild tho. The animals are so gorgeous... they have meerkats, farm animals and all sorts.. you feel sorry for them though, being in such close quarters in a zoo where people crowd about and kids yell. I hope they get to go home or swap out or something. The little calf seemed to be afraid of everyone. Standing as far to the back as he could and hiding behind his "mommy" a lovely sheep. I don't know how I feel about it all honestly because I don't know the situation. It seemed cramped and exploitative. I hope it's not.

The food was good, and i really enjoyed the petting zoo, the place looks lovely too.. however the atmosphere ruined it. It was just me and one friend, we had pre booked. Walked in and the waiter just stared in our faces as if to say why are you here?- with no smile. It felt so uncomfortable and unwelcoming. After this we had one young English boy who served us, that was very positive and had fantastic customer, he was definitely the highlight. As all the rest of the staff just looked grumpy and unhelpful. One of them even told me not to feed the cat- (pet friendly pub- which I liked). Why allow cats to be inside if you want us to ignore them? Me and my friend are people of colour, and were the only non white people in there. There were points where it felt like we weren't wanted.

Lovely pub in Enfield. I would love to give it five stars but the decoration is a little bit sad, however, the welcome is friendly. I've stopped here for food, which is great, and the cellar is well kept with keg and cask ales. There is a lovely cat who lives in the bar and the pub is well known for its exotic pets, including an iguana in the toilet! In the garden there is a petting zoo, which is quite entertaining. With a little bit of care and attention, the Beehive is definitely worth a five star, and I would hope the owning company would invest a little bit to bring it up to that standard 🙂.

Went there for Sunday lunch and I'm sorry to say it was the worst experience of dining out in my life. My husband and I ordered roast dinners and ask for mixed meat, he beef n chicken, myself beef n lamb. After 25 minutes a waitress came to our table and said whose having the beef. I told her we were both having mixed. Off she went n my husbands came out but minus his Yorkshire pudding. Side plates of vegetables were also put on the table. there was no sign of mine so he started his. His dinner was slightly warm plus two of his potatoes were uncooked in the middle. My dinner then appeared but there was only lamb on the plate so I told the waitress I'd ordered mixed meat. The governor appeared n I told him. He tried to tell me that there was beef n lamb on the plate. I told him I know the difference between both meats, so for the third time my dinner was taken back. By now my husband had finished what he did manage to eat. My dinner finally arrived with beef and ONE slice of lamb but the next problem was my veg had been sitting there for 35minutes so was stone cold. When the governor ask was it OK I said the veg had been there since the first dinner was served. Off he went n came back with two plates of hot veg n husbands Yorkshire pudding, plus two gravy dishes. The couple on the next table had seen all what had gone on and asked had we been before. I told her that we had come on recommendation. She said we had picked a really off day to come and things weren't as usual. She said she couldn't believe all what had happened to us. By now we were really fed up and asked the governor for our bill. When he brought it to us he told us he had taken off one coke and one small shandy for all the trouble. You couldn't make this review up as it's so unbelievable, so needless to say we will never go there to eat again and would definitely NOT recommend...

PEOPLE DO NOT use this pub if ypu want a buffet. ABSOLUTELY APPAULING, DISGUSTING and OUTRAGED with the food . Not enough choice on this paltry buffet .such small portions that was for the Funeral wake for our poor mum. If like eggs ,eggs and more eggs & sausage rolls ,your be ok. Cheap food from Icelands. I wouldn't feed it to the animals in the pet farm on site there. We was not welcomed when we arrived. There was no condolences to us . The sandwiches were all squashed and sloshy under cling film ,so bin out a while in the boiling heat . No pickles with the meat as stated on menu. No salad. No nuts or crisp, could of put out complimentary ..only one real ale on. At ÂŁ16 per head spose to cater for. 40 people it was not enough to feed 15 men. Drinks bill. was ,ÂŁ 600. We wasn't helped with the tv where we wanted play mums music and recording. Just at to get on with it. We was told. The pub was empty ,just a few lunchtime workman and after work - workman. The pub is a dump. You obviously dont get much custom You certainly earned out of us .You took the pee because we are bereft and hope we wont say anything. . obviously dont know how to.cater for a buffet It seems. just want as much money...

My 4.5yr old was entertained by looking at the animals whilst we were waiting for our food which to be fair didn’t take unusually long. We visited on a late sunny Sunday evening (5pm) and it wasn’t packed out thankfully. They have a lovely beer garden and inside is spacious enough for a buggy. It was fairly clean and there was a changing table in the ladies toilet. The food however wasn’t much to shout about considering the price. We had the lamb roast and Chicken and mushroom pie. Lamb was edible, Yorkshire pudding meh, pie crust was too soggy and served with more crust than filling. Veg sides and mash were meh. My son‘ s fish fingers were, however, real fish fillets fingers which was nice but his chops and peas were definitely frozen and not fresh. We shared some profiteroles which were obviously frozen and defrosted, smothered in sickening sweet chocolate flavoured sauce and chocolate flakes and vegan chocolate ice cream. The half pint of Leffe on tap was nice thought.

The service was good though accommodating to our needs and friendly. So I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to hang out with friends and family with kids on a sunny day but don’t expect the food...
