Himalayan Restaurant — Restaurant in London

My friends and I hadn't seen each other in a while so we decided to go to Himalayan Restaurant for good food. The food was great. Would rate 4/5. But, the service was rather poor. After asking the manager for the dessert menu, we decided to wait for 5 mins before ordering.

However, the manager came back shortly after and took the menu away without asking us. We found that very rude. And, we took that as a sign that they wanted us out so we asked for the bill. That Indian manager came near our table and threw that receipt book. He smirked and walked away. Extremely disrespectful. You do not treat your paying customers like that. You may be having issues at home but don't bring that to your work and ruin your customers day.

The food may have been good but because of your attitude, you lost your chances of us being repeat customers. An advice from a customer to that manager, please hone your customer service skills. You want to gain more customers,...

One of my favorite restaurants locally. The owner is very nice and hard-working. I have seen him delivering drinks to tables and even cleaning. I like the Chicken Manchurian and the Veg Biryani is also quite nice. They also keep the place clean. I haven't been on the weekends lately but I know they do have music. I've been here four or five times and have always had good food and friendly service.

Update 04/24 Looks like Himalayan is no more. Walked past and new sign for forthcoming restaurant named "Hello Mumbai".

Hi i am Agi here .....i was be here for my dinner i ask the manager did u have place for 2....the manager say i have table but its on reserved by 9.00pm but i be here by 9.30........ i was oder my food and stand @bar counter order my food and drink and take away too......finaly he offer the table and even not say sorry .....and say if u dont like dont take the table and walk of dont argument......its show of the culture of Nepalese people thank you so much brother .....i come here for my food not for tiredness....i Stil show to my cultures of malaysia......so i am Realy thank you to your county...
