Haven't been here in years. This used to be a local spot for us on a regular basis. A spontaneous trip to dine here as the local Ballot Box closed their kitchen @ 7pm - possibly due to staff shortages. Anywho we ended up locally here so, all good. Many parking spaces outside and as a side-note we did not realise Sudbury Court Drive has speed bumps? Off-topic but worth noting. Yes, it's been that long since we have been. Very spacious inside and whilst we did not book in-advanced, we was shown to our table promptly. A table for two. I knew what I wanted to eat as did my pal. Drinks (one non-alcoholic and one soda-based) were ordered along with our mains. No starters. Drinks and food that followed were both timely and in good order. My main (garlic chilli naan and chicken tikka masala), I can't remember my pals dish but the photo shows this; minus plain naan. I noticed the naan I ordered and chicken dish was superb and full of flavour. My friend also mentioned his dish was nice and I ordered an additional naan as the portion size (for me) was a big! So a positive. Soft drinks are overpriced in our opinion but thats the way things are. But good food and worth checking out with good service. A pleasant experience.

Ordered mumbai junction take away for an anniversary dinner. The food was delivered quickly however there were two strands of hair in the roti. The egg curry tasted of curry powder. We called the restaurant about the hygiene issue with the roti. Spoke to two members of staff who didnt seem in shock or cared there was hair. I had to ask what they would do to compensate for the meal they spoilt they offered send out roti which will take minimum 15 mins as thats how far we live. I said we are already eating and its 9pm already so no. They tried to say they will discount a meal next time if i call up and speak tothe manager then. I said i dont think we will be ordering again. I asked for a refund of half of the bill and the managed refused and said he would refund a couple of pounds for the roti. The manager didnt seem bothered about ruining our meal or the hygiene issue. We spent £44 on an underwhelming dinner.

Great restaurant with exceptional tasty food, lovely and friendly staff and a fantastic venue that shows sports , has an extensive drinks menu and a function room if needed. My wife and I and mum & dad love this place and have booked numerous events here using the function room to host parties such as our Mendhi night and birthday /wedding anniversary . The manager Rayes was so helpful and willing to help and organise and take the stress out of organising a 70+ guests list party and with the help of his team Joe and the wait staff and chefs the parties were a success without a hitch. A great thank you to all the staff there, please book this place for any upcoming parties you and your guests won’t be disappointed and great food at a reasonable price as well. Thanks Mumbai junction for being at the heart of the community.

I'm very sorry to have to leave this review but I've had enough of poor service.

(This is in relation to delivery, restaurant service is probably still fine).

EVERY SINGLE TIME I order a delivery here, there is an issue. At least with today's delivery, the driver wasn't abusive like the last one and was polite/reasonable enough but there was still an issue getting the food because the driver couldn't understand a simple instruction of step inside the lift and wait a moment, you don't need to press any buttons as I will call you up. I called each lift up multiple times and the driver wasn't in it. I ended up having to go down. It's completely crazy (especially considering the delivery FEE). I even got a call earlier asking me if I'd ordered from Deliveroo when I'd ordered from Mumbai Junctions own site. I think deliveries confuse staff here, stick to dining in the restaurant although we're so annoyed right now, that's probably not going to happen

Furthermore, we CLEARLY REQUESTED for a reasonable amount of sauces and got two small half full tubs of sauces. WE PAID £90 for this order, the sauces should be measurable to the amount of food ordered. The sauce given is pathetic. This restaurant is terrible for behaving in such a way.

The food was fairly burnt and overly spicy. Guess what would have helped with this and therefore the food rating? SAUCE. As it would have masked some of the burnt taste as well as the excessive chilli.

And lastly, Mumbai Junction are offering a misleading discount on their website - they act as though you will get £10 off an order but actually, you'll get £10 off which is split across 3 orders. Very deceptive.

I guess they're closing down, why should they care about very loyal customers who recommended loads of...

Very worse place to visit. Staffs are so rude and food is not good at all.

Have ordered main course, straight after main course hot plate was served on the table, was impressed that they giving hot planet for main course, and guess what it took good more than 45 minutes to get main course in the table. By the time main course served plates gone very cold.I did inform the waiter who came to serve main course, and he didn’t say anything wales alway.

Yes he did informed another waiter about the issue and other waiter came to table so I did inform him as well that by the time food came plates gone col and gave me another plate that was cold too. I didn’t say anything after getting another plate cold too, and started having my food.

Food was even worse than the service. All food were cold though, (I presume food were sitting in kitchen for long time that’s why it was cold) We ordered Paneer Bhurji, Chilly Garlic Naan and butter roti. Bhurji was like made in water, no taste at all it was testing like paneer deep into water and served, also butter roti was undercooked, like eating half roasted dough.

After all these I send them message on their Facebook page last Sunday 17th April but till today no response.

Do not recommend this...
