Hive Cafe — Restaurant in London

It's a place that has great potential but it's not being used effectively. It closes at 4 and they stop serving hot food at 3! That's prime time for the school run rush. The service is all right, not exceptional. Prices are high for the quality/quantity, £2 for a teeny tiny hot chocolate which is barely 2 sips. The sizes also vary depending on whether you done in or out. Small for takeout is not the same as small for dine in.

One of the good things about the cafe is that they have kids toys, books, and colouring pages.

It is very spacious with plenty of seating.

The music can get too loud...

Hive Cafe is a business I'm proud to support, and I look forward to visiting again (with my loyalty card)! The cafe offers lovely views of the Palace Road Nature Reserve, and the space provides a warm, bright, and welcoming atmosphere. I had a vegan chocolate brownie with an oat latte which were both tasty, and I'm eager to try the other vegan options available. I came across this cafe in between looking at flats in the area and it made me feel even more positive about the area. Had a really delicious, huge salmon and avocado bagel with a very good espresso. Friendly staff and fantastic value for money, which is much appreciated at the moment. It was only after I ordered and looked the cafe up online, that I saw its also doing really good community work as well. Looking forward to when I'm back in the area, will definitely visit...
