Overall mixed. 50/50 if the food is great or inedible/dangerous. Would advise not worth risking ordering take out through UberEats, but probably good if you go to the restaurant.
Another bad experience:
Had another terrible experience through Uber Eats, but originating that the food was poor. Totally cold and two smash burgers raw to the point of dangerous inside. Uber thinks dicing with your health is worth a paltry ÂŁ6 refund, and seemingly impossible to get a proper refund or speak to humans. I guess a credit card charge back my be the only route.
Original review:
Food is usually good, but the last order was wrong when it turned up. I ordered through Uber Eats who offered a refund of ÂŁ5.44 for an item I paid ÂŁ16.50 for. When I said I wanted a full refund for the item I was told it was already processed, so nothing else they could do. I think they have tried refunding me the difference between what I ordered and what they delivered... But I'd please like a refund for the item in full, I don't want to pay partially for an item I didn't order. Can you and Uber Eats deal with this properly rather than having to waste my time doing a credit card charge back.
Follow up:
Uber have finally refunded the item one one of the orders after multiple messages. Shambolic responses from Uber all written by AI garbage, and no real complaints process. Uber hides behind automation and does everything it can to get away with not refunding properly.
Whilst I appreciate Honest's response and understand it is Uber who have to process the refund as the payment went through them, I believe HB so have power to get them to process the refund as they are ultimately working for you... Otherwise if they really can't then I suggest HB use a different intermediary and their choice of...
Read moreIt was horrible! A Well designed place though I enjoyed how it was quiet however the service wasnât good, we asked to move seats into a more grouped space however a man proceeded to tell us âIf a bigger group came weâd have to move us out.â Which wasnât really insulting but even then what if we havenât finished our food! We wouldnât want to be moving around with all the food we had ordered, but we shook it off as it wasnât something major and we continued to wait for our drinks and food , when the man brought the drink over I asked if he can open my ginger ale and he looked at me as if I was crazy and asked me âopen your drink?â And I said yes because itâs common decency he then opened it and then gave me a shrug of his shoulders showing me his hands as if my Hands would fall out if I tried opening my drink! but then he went on saying it was because they couldâve drugged it and wouldnât want to make trust issues with the customer but my mothers drink was open with her orange juice and Prosecco champagne! That couldâve been drugged too so I donât understand what he was trying to say and I tried explaining to him and he looked at me as if I was speaking nonesense, so we paid for the drinks and just left since we werenât happy and as excited to try...
Read moreI and my wife went there two times now.
I tend to hesitate to write a review on the first instance, especially if I am likely to go back there again. So I waited to see how our second visit would go:)
I rated the food with 4 stars because there is a room for improvement. It feels like the *fries are made out of potato offcuts⌠you get 2 or 3 medium size cuts on top and the rest are tiny pieces of potato. *Beef patties good size, bacon and cheese as they should be.. beef patty a bit too dry for medium well, but second time we tried medium and trick worked, as it was like medium well.
Prices are reasonable compared to other chains.
Service was particularly memorable with kind and friendly attitude of Sophia. She recommended monthâs special to my wife and it was as described. Atmosphere is very casual and totally suitable for conversation, not too noisy.
Every time we pass and see Sophia through the window. we say hello to each other. Lovely to have commercial premises in the neighbourhood with...
