Imm Thai Fusion Wimbledon — Restaurant in London

In my opinion the overall best Thai in Wimbledon. Wimbledon has been blessed with some great Thai restaurants (and I am including the Village here) but for my money Imm Thai just edges ahead of them and ticks all the boxes. Excellent food, the mixed starters are a must. After coming here for years I finally had a dessert and it was stunning (I rarely manage to fit in a dessert), which included ice cream that was so smooth it just had to be homemade (I checked and it was). Everyone loves the cocktails & Panya makes one of Wimbledon's best Margarita's. Gorgeous interiors with comfortable seating.And all reasonably priced. And the service is exceptional thanks to Panya and his team, it's all very relaxed and friendly, even the owner & her delightful daughter stop by to say hello. This was generally ok, style over substance. Relatively cheaper than other restaurants in Wimbledon but room for improvement: the dim sum was fatty and had that frozen food taste . Had the sea bass, green curry, and pad Thai which were decent. The dessert was disappointing - they firstly gave us the wrong order after 20 min then had to wait a further 20 min without any apology. Mango sticky rice portion was small and not worth the wait. Service was a bit off - before entering we were told to book next time, although there were plenty of free tables available throughout the night and the website wouldn't let us book for a table in less than 2 hours.

Following contact with one of the staff, we felt listened to and returned to Imm Thai Fusion to give it another try. Siri did her best to accommodate for us. Better the next time, and satisfactory...

Spent £60 on a takeaway from Imm Thai Fusion so included a few different dishes, including Pad Thai, Egg Fried Rice, Veg Gyoza, Prawn Crackers and Veg Spring Rolls. Unfortunately they were all rather bland, only the Tom Yum soup and Chicken Satay would be worth getting again. Pretty disappointed.

Please note that I actually called your restaurant initially to order a delivery (directly), and was told by the women I spoke to that the restaurant only does deliveries via Deliveroo?!?

I’m glad your restaurant doesn’t overload your food with extra salt and sugar, but wouldn’t necessarily agree that’s why...
