This bakery is an absolute gem in Leytonstone. From the moment you step inside, it feels like you've entered a dream. The shop itself is a whimsical wonderland, with soft pink and pretty aesthetic that could have been pulled straight out of a delicate drawing.
The offerings are nothing short of spectacular. Each pastry is a work of art, with golden layers and delicate details that are almost too pretty to eat. And yet, once you take that first bite, you'll find that they taste as incredible as they look.
One standout dish from the hot food menu is the Moussaka, made with tender aubergines. It’s comforting yet refined, bursting with flavor in every bite. If you’re after something instant and savory, their quiches are a must-try prefectlg flaky crusts and rich, satisfying fillings that make for an ideal midday treat.
The drinks are just as refreshing, with their fresh orange, carrot, and ginger juice being a particular favourite. It’s the perfect, zesty pick-me-up after a pastry or two.
For something truly special, they make the incredible cakes on order. I had layers of hazelnut cream, delicate sponge, and a hint of vanilla made for a decadent combination that tasted as luxurious as it looked.
One of its best-kept secrets: the soup of the day. It's often overshadowed by the usual menu items, and, it deserves a spotlight. I've tried the spicy carrot soup and the mushroom soup, both of which were wonderfully comforting and packed with flavour.
During pleasant weather, the roof opens up, and the canopy of trees above makes for a serene, tranquil environment - ideal for a peaceful retreat with friends or family. Whether you're popping in for a quick pastry or settling in for a relaxed afternoon, this bakery is a delightful place to unwind and indulge.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy beautiful food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that feels like a little...
Read morePopped in with my son today for a quick brunch after hearing lots of positive recommendations on Facebook. We were welcomed and asked if we'd like to have a seat and check the brunch menu. We sat outside at the back which was a lovely little spot at a table for 2. We decided to try the truffle scrambled eggs, with feta, spinach and tomato as the toppings. My son found the spinach a bit salty and when I tried it, I did too. However apart from that it was a lovely flavourful meal and was thoroughly enjoyed. I chose the soup of the day, which was carrot and coriander, which was very nice too, with a slice of sourdough. My son had an iced latte, and the flavour if the coffee was delightful. I had a chai turmeric latte which was very good too. Often I find these sorts of drinks are too sweet, but this was just right. Was also shared a raspberry tart. This was excellent. I was expecting to have a fight with the pastry case, but it was perfect. Easy to cut, but also didn't fall to pieces, spot on.
We were so pleased that we decided to purchase some more items to take home and share with the rest of the family. The mango cake was excellent, not too sweet, the mille feuille was flaky and delicious, and the New York croissant was nice too. My son bought a box of macarons, they were nice, but we found the almond flavour almost overpowered the intended flavours of them. My son like the touch of sesame on the pistachio macaron. We also got a lamb roll and a spinach roll. The mince in the lamb roll was seasoned well and flavourful, and the spinach roll was also very good. Staff were polite and friendly, cafe was clean and has a lovely ambience.
We will be back. Thank you! Great addition to...
Read moreUpdate to my previous 5 star review. It's still a great place, brunch and desserts are amazing.
The only issue is the influx of Instagram influencers clogging up the place which is extremely off putting. I don't visit as often as I did when it first opened as the vibe has somewhat changed. Paying for takeaway drinks and cakes are also very slow because sit in diner's also pay at the front desk, creating two queues fighting to pay at the same till.
Perhaps the business should take dine in customers payment at the table with a card machine instead of them going up to the till to pay.

Great addition to Leytonstone! Tasteful decor, clean, nice new outdoor area at the back.
Amazing patisserie selections that are all made in-house. They are all beautifully presented so make very nice last minute gifts. You can tell they make it themselves as they are not sickly sweet like a lot of other places. The owners are very nice and took their time to explain what everything was. Their savoury filled pastries and mini halloumi burgers are amazing!
For the quality and taste, I'd say the price is fair. I don't think people realise how much it really costs to run a small business in this economic climate while still being able to produce good food with quality ingredients.
In my opinion, the people who complain that it's far too expensive are probably better off with sticking to Gregg's and Wetherspoons... Where staff are treated poorly and food quality and service doesn't matter as long as the price is right.
If you don't mind spending a bit more on quality over quantity while supporting a local business, you'll...
