Jaipur Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in London

I couldn’t believe what I experienced tonight and will never order from here again. I am a regular customer at this establishment and usually enjoy the food, the staff are usually friendly, my husband usually talks to them. Fast forward to today (shock isn’t the word). When the food arrived I opened the lamb Rogan, which was dry it looked as though it had been burnt or left out, leftovers or old food. I phoned to explain, I don’t usually complain, but the tub was also half filled. Never had this problem ever. I was shocked… On the other end of the line whoever answered the phone was VERY rude. I explained the situation and was told ‘ ring up next time and tell them, they will do something then’ ( WHAT) When I said I’d like it really sorted out today, regular customer and spend lots of money in this place, I was told outright ‘no’. Basically tough, so we have subsequently binned the Lamb Rogan. Once I got off the phone my fears were confirmed. The onion bajis were so hard, we couldn’t bite into them, again they were binned, yogurt sauce tasted of vinegar. After tonight I will be taking my business elsewhere , never experienced anything like it. Not sure what we did to deserve this treatment, it’s such a shame, we only ever got our takeaways from here! I will NEVER dine in this atrocious restaurant! I was mortified by the poor level of service. The starters and mains arrived 50 minutes later but even then some food items were missing whilst the rest were served cold. We visited whilst this restaurant participated in the government's 'Eat out to help out' scheme and I was shocked to discover the manager is a FRAUD! We were charged full price for the non alcoholic drinks when the government clearly stated that non alcoholic drinks are also included in the 50% off! The manager argued that he visited "other restaurants" that also charge full price for drinks despite the government scheme. The manager finally agreed to the discount only because other diners overheard our dispute and noticed they were also being charged the full price. This place robs innocent diners who just pay without questioning. Overall they lack morals. I would give it 0 stars if I could. AVOID THIS...

A hidden gem in South Woodford. One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The service and interior is immaculate. To start off with the service is absolutely amazing. The owner and waiters go above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough. They are humble, sweet and take care of your ever need want. The food is delicious, tasty and fresh. The mixed grill is super tasty, my favourite was the chicken leg. The taste is perfect!

The king prawns are out of the ordinary. That is what you call a king prawn! It was absolutely delicious!!! The nan, chicken, daal, fish and rice were super tasty! Everything was delicious and I can’t thank them enough for the lovely service and amazing food. The mango lassi was very tasty. Every detail was perfect. The wet wipes was even perfect, having the best warmth and a lovely mint to finish off.
