Id give this place a 5 star, have been once for iced latte, since theyre open till late and that's rare! My main reason for giving this review is because some of the negative reviews given for this business is quite unfair and unreasonable. For laptop users and workers, using an internet cafe costs around £10.00 for an hour, you can't go to a coffee shop/cafe and use their electricity by just purchasing a bottle of water (with a low markup) or a single coffee drink, take up space on a table JUST because they are a coffee shop and open to accepting you! That's taking the Mick! With regards to showing rudeness or negative vibes, that's fair to find it unacceptable, but a 1 star is out of order and unfair. All businesses these days thrive on Google reviews and a good online presence. Some of the reviewers should think twice before leaving a review like this. There are others who ganged up, influenced eachother and gave negative reviews because of a ghost with historical relevance to Woodford being painted over! If the ghost was held by any historical relevance, the Borough of Redbridge would have saw it as historical, they would have preserved it. If it's on private property, i.e. the shop, of course it would be painted over! Being a part of a society requires tolerance, and supporting a business in the locality that helps the area to thrive,...

Read moreExtremely disappointed by my most recent visit to this cafe. On my first visit, I ordered food and drinks while studying, and I was pleased with the friendly interactions from the waitress and staff. I even commented on how convenient the opening hours were, as few cafés in the area stay open that late. Based on this positive experience, I returned for a second visit, intending to study again. This time, I ordered a coffee, and my friend ordered a juice.
However, we were met with unexpected coldness and a negative attitude from the waitress. It seemed as though our decision not to order food was not appreciated, as she made a comment about how little we had ordered. The atmosphere became uncomfortable, and the rudeness felt targeted solely at us. I've never encountered this kind of treatment in any other café where I've spent time studying.
If the café has numerous plug sockets available, it's reasonable to expect customers might spend extended periods working. This experience was disappointing, and due to the unpleasant treatment, I will not...
