Jesse's Cafe — Restaurant in London

I will definitely NEVER waste my time here again. I sat on a table outside, where someone else had obviously sat before me: no one actuallt bothered cleaning it before serving me. I had asked for a set breakfast and a portion of chips, I received a plate with the breakfast (minus the mushrooms) and a 'pinch of chips' next to it - although they charged me full price for both courses. The coffee that came with the set breakfast came in a dirty mug - one couldn't look at it without feeling sick. Hygiene here is below zero, food quality and value for money aren't obviouslt...

First time for mother and I, coming into this cafe at 430pm,. last minute hunger pangs set in, and were welcomed by a very welcoming, friendly, sincere couple who were quick to take our order, and make a lovely dish of comfort food and good good mug of tea, with a smile 🙂 The portions were good, not too much not too little and as it was quiet, we had a little natter and left feeling satisfied and happier, and my old mum wants to come back again, the cherry pancakes were delicious! Today I dined at Jesse's for the first time and was delighted with food, service, ambiance and price. I ordered a 'safe' option, this being my first visit but I wished I'd been more adventurous as the meal was hot and delicious. I had probably the best cup of hot chocolate ever.
