Edit:
Reduced rating to just 1 star to justify the decent food. The Owner has advised me to buy a pair of reading glasses before I even venture out to eat again. Great to know your response standard. Sadly this seems like the best response the owner had instead of sticking to facts. Seems that customer service is not really on the mind but making profits are. I will make the best attempt to locate the bill & upload a pic here for everyone to see what a sham you are. I would have said that you are simply trying to cheat out people of money as no one will probably object to £0.60 for a poppadom or £0.50 for condiments but I will maintain my standard and let other customers decide for themselves.
As for who offers free poppadoms, get out of your house and you will be amazed at the facts you can collate in just 5 miles radius. Some very popular, adequately & aptly rated restaurants in Hounslow offer free poppadoms. You just decided to insult a customer because you could not handle a critic. Speaks a lot about what kind of person you are & how you will behave with a customer if this feedback was given in person. Good Luck with you business & hopefully this edit will give you some thoughts to run through your mind. The bill was handwritten with no bill number or vat number listed. Perhaps to avoid tax. Service was ok and so was food. Condiments on tables are chargeable and so are the poppadoms. Do not mistake them to be on the house. Wouldn't be interested in visiting again or recommending to anyone else. Better head to Flavours of India near Hounslow...
Read moreI ordered from Jolly's today. NEVER AGAIN. I ordered a king prawn curry. What i found when i removed the curry, was really dodgy looking, grey, chopped up, rubbery things. with poo line intact. Absolutely grotesque. I immediately washed all the curry away and packed up the remains in the very container i received it in. My husband and I then drove over and asked to see the manager. He very openly admitted that they are bought in cooked, (not fresh prawns cooked at the restaurant) and are cooked twice over and also chopped up?!!? WHY?! When i also mentioned our bland and tasteless veg curry we had also ordered, he again, very openly admitted her catered for White people. I am Indian, so my advice is if you are too, don't bother with this place. He agreed to give us a refund. The icing on the cake was his attitude when we politely asked what was taking so long - he was gone over 12 minutes - to receive the refund. Not JOLLY at all let me tell you!! My husband got a very dirty look and were told if we didn't want to wait we didn't have to! You would think he would try and rectify a problem... But no, not at JOLLY's!! Avoid at all costs unless you want cheap and nasty, rank food. Oh and with respect to the decor - I got take away so doesn't really apply - but in this case, the decor is strictly in reference to the...

Entrance is on street level and has a manual door.
I booked for 8 people and it was nice to find that each table comfortably sat 4 person.
Food was ok but one person thought their dish was to salty and the vegans were not impressed with the food at all.
The lady taking the order needed to listen to what the customer was saying as we had to repeat things several times and because she spoke so quietly we had to clarify things to ensure she got the order right.
The other lady brought out the food and stood at one end of the two tables and called out the dishes; I was seated right next to her and had trouble hearing her. They didn’t know who had ordered what so it was quite a shambles.
I won’t be...
